This lighter is really cool since it works on rechargeable battery power. Only had it for two days but I can say it lights candles easy and with the length and slender design it easily lit a tall slender candle. The best part is you won't get burned holding it in an inverted way while lighting a candle. Seems to almost instantly light candles. I tried it on cardboard and paper and easily ignited both. The design has a safety feature where a sliding cover makes it impossible to energize the tip while closed. This makes it a lot safer around children than a standard lighter. I love the fact that it's rechargeable. But seriously, the cord is 6 inches long. It hangs from the outlet or in my case, I bought a 3' USB extension cord. I mean, would it kill them to put 10 extra inches of wire on there? Otherwise, it works and I've even been able to light incense with it. Read more
