Bought for the power accessories, not the marketing on the box.
It's a power adapter & USB cable, which I needed for time lapse photography... not necessarily the web cam stick, but yes, it works for that too. Read more

Only thing i wasn't aware of was there is a free and premium version for EOS webcam. It's won't stop you from being able to use your camera as a webcam, but it does mean that anything over 720p and 30 fps is trapped behind a paywall. Otherwise, great product! Read more
Excellent add on for your Camera
The hardware is perfect, but the subscription to use the software that drives the device is ridiculous. You can use it with standard settings for free,but if you want 1080p you have to pay. Buyer beware. Read more
ACK-E12 substitute
I needed to power an EOS M and the ACK-E12 has been discontinued. This kit mentions only a handful of cameras are compatible, but the batteries are the same, so I took a shot on this. As far as the dummy battery is concerned, this works as an ACK-E12 substitute to power my EOS M. I didn't see this mentioned anywhere else, so I'm posting this for anyone else who comes along after me. I have no intention of using my camera as a webcam, but I imagine only the few cameras listed on the box are compatible with that side of things. Read more
Just what I needed
This was exactly what I needed to use my m50 as a webcam, and with OEM Canon parts to do it so I feel much better about it. I ended up also buying an Elgato CamLink 4k so that I can use the hdmi output instead of the usb for better image quality, while using the D/C converter from this kit. Worth it to pay a few bucks more for genuine Canon parts when it comes to powering your expensive camera gear, in my opinion. Read more
Works perfect!!
Insert the battery pack included with the kit close the back up then, Pull up on the tab on the bottom of your EOS camera (button that opens battery box pull up instead of sliding it to the side to open) to get access to battery for power. Then plug in usb from camera to pc. Install cannon webcam utility and your done. Works perfect for obs. Read more
Don’t buy this save your money
At least don’t buy it here from Amazon. I have to return the first one because it stop working after one used. Now the second one (replacement) they send is also not working. Read more
