This little can opener has far exceeded my expectations. It is small and sleek- takes up very little space. I love that it displays the charge percentage right on top. I’ve charged it once, used it every day, and it is still at 89% after a month. The blade itself never touches the food inside in the can so it is a very clean process. Blade is sharp and slices smoothly right through the can but it leaves no sharp can edges, making it much safer. The can opener is magnetized and sit securely on top of the can- all you do is push a button! So so easy to use. Best can opener I've ever had. Operation is smooth, quiet, fast, it stops automatically, and it looks cool. My last robot can opener was super noisy and slow, and ate batteries. Haven't even had to recharge this one yet. Impressed. Read more
It worked OK. We only used it once with a full battery. It opened the soup can without issue, but it seemed a bit weak and wobbly as it went around the can. However, it's way easier than using a manual can opener. The magnetic bracket holds the unit fine on the wall; way better than using up counter space with a traditional electric can opener. Definitely worth the money! Read more
This is an awesome opener. Shows the charge level and seems to last long time on a charge. It is very quiet. Motor is pretty powerful. Autostop is great. The little opener hook thing is great as the magnet is never strong enough on these things. My favorite feature is that the lids can be used to cover the can back. It is not an airtight seal, but it prevents contents from slushing out when you put the can in the fridge and keeps it from drying out. Very useful with things like evaporated or condensed milk which I never use entirely at once. Read more
The charge lasts for months, and it works wonderfully. It's a little tricky to remove the tops once it's cut off, but I use a sturdy knife to pop it off. Low profile, and stores easily. It has plenty of strength and sharpness to cut through any can I throw at it. Read more
I have a large can opener that sits on my counter. It uses the same mechanism as this new one, but struggles to open even an aluminum can. It simply cannot handle steel cans. For them I must use a hand crank opener. This new cordless opener is like magic. Not super fast, but it completely removes the lid leaving no lip, which is what I want so the food is easily and completely removed. If I use the pull tab, it leaves a lip that catches the food and makes it difficult to remove. With this opener, it easily frees the entire lid leaving no lip to prevent easy removal of the food. I love it. It is far superior to large, electric, countertop models. HIGHLY recommended! Read more
