I love this purse!! I've never been a purse carrier because I could never find one that I liked- they all felt too childish or too old lady. This one is great. The strap is long & adjustable; I love that it zips closed and has a flap that goes over the zipper. It's not too big & bulky but still fits everything I need (I have 3 smaller makeup type bags inside. This is a decent crossbody canvas messenger bag. I got the black color because I wanted to use it for business, and I nearly always wear a black suit. I work in an industry where I transport documents from place to place, and I do carry a briefcase, but my briefcase is holding other important things and is heavy enough, and so I usually just carry the legal-size documents and a legal-size FedEx envelope in one arm. I thought this crossbody bag might be perfect for those things so that I don't have to carry them but discovered that the legal size FedEx envelope didn't fit because it is 15.5". My legal-size accordion-style folder didn't fit either because it is 14.75". This is not the bag's fault; it's my fault for not looking at the dimensions closely enough. This canvas bag seems to be well-made and feels as canvas should. It could have a variety of uses such as taking to the grocery store or to the beach or to the Post Office with packages to mail. A student would probably love it to hold items to take to class. There is a nice inner pocket with an outer zippered compartment for things like gum, wallet, and keys, and there are two outer pockets, one on each side of the bag. These side pockets are open, and so your items are not completely secure in them. The strap is adjustable, which is a nice feature. I am not sure that this is the best value at $23.88 as there is a similar item available for $19.99 that is an Amazon's choice which is bigger at 15.7" long. This bag is, however, less expensive than a leather alternative. This bag may be the perfect size for many; it just wasn't the perfect size for me. Read more
The media could not be loaded. This is a good quality canvas messenger bag. There's a lot of room inside as well as two smaller interior pockets (one with and one without a zipper). The stitches holding these pockets in place can be seen from the outside of the bag (on the back where it would be against your body). There's a zipper that runs across the length of the bag to secure everything inside (I didn't show this zipper in action in the video). It's hidden by the flap that covers the messenger bag. There are also two side pockets. The buckles for the adjustable strap are made of plastic, which does make the bag feel cheaper. The strap is wide, which I prefer (helps with the weight on my shoulder). The color of my bag (Gray) is more of a warm gray with brownish tints to it (I would have chosen a different color if I'd known this). I found some long loose strings inside (see photo; easy enough to remove, but did lower my opinion a bit). The bag is able to fit quite a bit of stuff (and I could have fit a bit more than what's shown in the photos). Felt comfortable on my shoulder with these items in the bag. Overall, it's a good messenger bag, not the best quality but not bad either. Read more
