I like the thickness. It doesn’t show through while I have it on. I took a close up in the mirror so you could see that for yourself. I don’t have time now to take the really nice pictures that this dress deserves. I’ll come back later with that. And although the buttons are small, I found them easy to button and unbutton. I am able to slip this on and off without buttoning and unbuttoning. You can button it up to the last three top buttons. There aren’t button holes for the last three top button. I love everything about this dress. The warmth the dark color, the feel on my skin makes me happy. Which is a hard task since I'm hyper sensitive to fabrics and can get over stimulated. I did not feel in any way bothered by this dress the buttons or the material. I felt confident when wearing this stylish piece. I'm 5'1 and the length was perfect and as shown on ad. At 130ish lbs I ordered a medium and my chunky upper back of arm fat/skin still fit without feeling too tight! Sleeve length is good also. I was plesantly surprised about the quality tbh. Very sexy dress! It came pre-buttoned with a few buttons not buttoned at the bottom and I thought it would be good enough but I definitely needed to button it more! It's VERY sexy without really showing much at all and I love that in a dress. I really love a long, elegant dress that's simple. This dress does not have a lot to it, but when I put it on I felt so sexy and hot. It's got a good stretch to it, but not overly stretchy.
