It retains the last setting when powered off. To me this is the most important feature. The remote works well with the lights and there was plenty of cable to mount the strips under the footwells in the front of the vehicle, and then extend to underneath the front seats for the footwells in the back of the vehicle. The light remembers the color I chose and the brightness level every time my car starts, which is exactly what I wanted. I cleaned the contact surface with alcohol before applying these, and I have not had any issues with adhesion. You could also apply these with zip ties if you wanted. Stand LEDs needed to be replaced found these which include 4 LED bars. Its also a USB plug. This was Just what i needed, matches the colors of the fireplace. Adhesive is great brings extra adhesive too. Lights are very bright. Easy to install. Doesn’t look cheap. Read more

These are great LED’s. They go with the beat of the music, multi colors to choose from, the can strobe on and off, go with the beat of your music, or just stay on. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star rating is because one of the LED strips cord is not long enough to route from the passenger front floor board around passing through the drivers side front and then get to the back where you can hide all the cords under interior trim and carpet, so we just had to have them all up front. Also the fact that they plug in to the lighter power supply. I don’t care for that because you see the cord. My remedy was to cut off the lighter plug and an “add a circuit” (piggy back fuse) from orileys and hard wired it in to the fuse box. If you do the same be sure to put it on a key switched power supply and not a constant bc if you forget to turn them off you could run down your battery. Read more
