Bought this as a Father’s Day gift from my son to his dad after his old car mount finally gave out. A year later, it’s still going strong—and that’s saying something for a guy who’s constantly in and out of the car, phone in hand. It holds his iPhone 16 with no issue—even with a case on. The vent clip is solid and doesn’t slip or sag like a lot of cheaper mounts do. The 360° rotation makes it easy to switch between vertical and horizontal view, and the grip is strong enough to stay put even on bumpy roads. Installation was simple, and once it’s locked in, it doesn’t budge. No weird rattling, no sliding off the vent, no needing to readjust every other drive. It’s compact, minimal, and just works. This worked great it holds in place really good. Used a 5lbs device on it and it had no problem holding it. The suction is extremely Good. Gives me a really hard time to remove to use between the 3 cars. I'm going to order 2 more and solve this issue. I strongly recommend this one. Read more

The quality is great if you know how to put things together because the instructions and the entire packet is either Chinese or Japanese nothing in English there is pictures that describe or show how to put it together, but for me it was difficult I had to have help. I've tried several phone mounts in the past, and this one is the first I've really liked. Feature by feature: * Phone clamp - spring-loaded phone clamps are awkward for me to use. Maybe it's just me, but I need two hands to separate the jaws and a third hand to maneuver the phone in or out. This one uses a spring to SEPARATE the jaws, not to hold them together. At the press of a button, the ratchet holding them together is released. Inserting the phone and closing the jaws takes only one hand. Same with removing the phone. * Adjustability - this device can be adjusted in almost any conceivable direction and can be positioned however I want it, whether it is attached to the dash, the windshield, or a vent. I've tried all three choices, and only had to decide which is best. NOT which is the worst of bad choices. * Suction - holds great to a smooth surface. In fact, it's a bit hard to remove. There is a sticky substance around the rim to help prevent air leakage. I don't know it this will come off with frequent removal, but after one repositioning, mine will stay where it is. * Vent clip - I tossed mine aside, because I HATE vent clips, which always come loose and get in the way. But I searched it out to try it for the purpose of this review. It has a completely different method of attaching to the vent. No way this one will fall off or get twisted around. So, now the suction arm that I bought it for is stuck to the windshield and folded up behind the mirror, and the vent clip is what I'm going to use. Read more
