Car trash cans have come a long way since last time I bought one (early 2020)! Now there are a jillion options on the market, which can make it hard. I tried a handful, but ended up really liking this one the best - so much that I bought another set for the other car (replacing the one I bought in 2020). The things that make this different: - The bottom part is flexible! Not flimsy flexible, but just flexible enough to fit into weird spaces. - The top part is not flexible, so it will always click shut properly and won't get floppy. - It can be opened two ways as seen in the description (pressing the top center open, or pressing the button to flip the whole top open). - The top is very secure, and won't pop off randomly like others out there. - The angled top lets you orient it in whatever way is best for your car. - Also fit great in a cupholder. My car is a 2025 Tucson Hybrid. The seat pocket is kinda weird shaped and very tilted, and I had trouble finding trash cans that would fit and be easy to access. This works great! Because of the slanted top, I was able to insert it kinda sideways, and the lid is almost flat horizontal - super easy for me. As seen in my pics, I can easily use the open-all-the-way button to flip the lid wide, or I can just press down on the middle of the top for small trash pieces. My spouse saw this and his eyes lit up, and he asked if he could try one in his car (2020 Tucson). Even though there was a redesign year in between, this fit his car great too. So I bought a second set, so that we could each have one on the driver side and on the passenger side (gotta put those dunkin straw wrappers somewhere, right?). They also fit great in cupholders! So if your seat pockets were too had to access, or full, or whatever, or you wanted one in the backseat where kids could reach (idk), they'll work there too. Read more

I have purchased similar garbage cans in the past, but this little garbage can is superior in SO many ways. 1) Lid stays put! On others, the lids would constantly fall off. I eventually lost some lids and just left the other lids off (I had one in each door) 2) Has a “rubbery” exterior, but is NOT flimsy. So, it stays put without rattling in the door. 3) Also, the entire thing seems to be flexible (made of a sturdy rubbery material (lid is plastic), but I thought it was plastic inside and had to squeeze it just now to make sure it wasn’t. So, it really holds its shape as though it were made of solid material. 3) flap that opens and closes for garbage input is easy to use. No issues. My old cans were frustrating. They are just ok. I really wanted to like these. But they don’t fit a ton of trash and they aren’t as “soft” as you would think given their marketing. They feel flimsy and the lid randomly opens. I tend to fill them up quickly. They don’t rattle tho. So I guess they live up to that. At the end of the day I still end up having trash around my car because it either doesn’t fit or it’s already full. Great for gum wrappers and straw paper and that’s about it lol one tissue and you’re full. Read more
