My recipe for oven fried chicken has never looked so 'pan perfect' as it has with this roaster!
If you want a gold star pan for oven fried anything, this is the pan for you!!! For years I have struggled with non-stick pans, aluminum pans, etc. and all have failed to provide a perfectly brown result without 'sticking'. I use butter in my recipe, and butter can burn and stick. But not in this pan. This prima donna gives nothing less than a stellar performance for a wipe down cleanup, and a thick and flat guaranteed surface bottom. This is hefty, solid, and assures you it will not 'round out' the bottom regardless of how high the heat may be. Not to mention it is stunning! Stunning! I almost hated having to use it the first time. I felt like it should have been framed instead. Absolutely beautiful! I got the black and gold, and boy, it was worth the extra few dollars for this elegantly rich combination. Heavy? You betcha! You know you're carrying a 'real' pan of superior quality when you heft this beauty into your oven. I can never imagine this pan being able to rust. It is far too well made, sturdy, solid, thick, and superior. Yes, it may cost a bit more than your average peeling non stick pan, but I guarantee you this baby will be around forever and look great too. I just love this pan, can use it for chicken, turkey, big roasts...the list goes on. So pleased! And the big solid handles assures no possible dropping accidents or unplanned burns.
