It is very easy to set up, easy to clean and unlike other humidifiers, I do not have to worry about spilling water when refilling the water into the humidifier. It took literally one minute to set up and I did not even have to look at the manual to set up. You don’t have to worry about cleaning up well since it is pretty simple to clean up as it has a huge open water reservoir. My previous humidifier had a small hold and I always worried about getting mold inside since I did not know how to clean thoroughly. But this one is pretty easy to clean well. It is big enough to cover a good size bedroom or even living room. It has a nice design that blends in when it is not in use. It is also very quiet so you can barely hear it when it is on. The electronics in this seems to have gone bad after 2 years ownership (and i havent used this full time for 2 years only sporadically in the winter). Contacted CarePod and they will not fix or replace it as it is outside the limited 1 year manufacturers warranty. Super expensive costing item that is cheaply made and will not last, i would avoid this at all costs. The only thing they would do is send out a new wand (after i already purchased a replacement wand myself to try and get it to work) and then gave up. Worst support and terrible company. Read more
I already have the Carepod One and use it in my son's room every night. He has allergies and it makes a notable difference when we run the humidifier — his coughing is almost completely gone and he sleeps better. What I loved about Carepod specifically is how easy it is to clean. We've tried other humidifiers and it's so difficult to clean them. They would get so disgusting and goopy and I started feeling like I was making the air quality worse by using them. There is one problem with this humidifier. It drips it’s noisy. It wakes me up at night. I have the setting on low and it doesn’t seem to matter if it’s full or half full of water. The company sent me a new wand thinking maybe that’s the issue which I’m going to try tonight. If that doesn’t help, I’m going to have to return it and get something else. What I like about it is that it is good for a large space. It’s easy to clean. It’s self sterilizing. and looks attractive.
