Updated Review (June 22, 2024): I figured now was a good time to provide an update on how using this humidifier is going. I still have my original unit, and it still works, and it is still awesomely easy to clean. As a disclaimer though, I live in a usually hot and humid US state, so I tend to only use this humidifier from late November to late March (when colder weather starts to impact humidity) or when someone in the house has gotten sick. I'm not sure if I just got lucky, but I have seen other reviews mention their units didn't last as long as mine has. I do wish we could fill higher on the water tank, and the cons in my original view still do detract from my own experience. However, I do still enjoy using this unit overall and hope it'll last for several more years to come! For those complaining about white dust... just like all humidifiers, this unit doesn't recommend using water straight from the tap. Obviously you can still use tap water despite the instructions, but if you get white dust, that's not an issue with your unit. You'd get that for any humidifier you use with tap. ------------------- Initial Review (March 25, 2022): I've had this for almost a month now, and I have to say, I am enjoying this humidifier immensely! Here are some observations... Pros: - Seriously easy to clean! I have had a ton of humidifiers in my lifetime, and this is the easiest to clean by a long shot. Cleaning takes me around 5-10min, and this is mainly due to me washing all the parts that are washable instead of just wiping them down. I don't have to take out a bottle brush for this bad boy! Everything can be washed with a sponge! Amazing! - 3 different levels of humidity. I tend to use mine on the low setting, which means it lasts ~24hrs with the max amount of water in the container. I've had to up it to medium and high before to get rid of a bad case of static in the room though, and it took care of that within a few hours. Great! Neutrals: - It's pretty quiet, but I can definitely still hear it. I have this next to my bed, and there's definitely a bit of noise. It's not loud or obtrusive though, and pretty easy to disregard as background noise when the room is quiet. - Button chimes. I don't think there's a way to silence them, but at least it's a pleasant-sounding chime when you do have to hear it. Cons: - If you're using this next to your bed, please be aware that they warn you to have at least 3 ft between this humidifier and your bed/items!! I do usually point this at my bed from the table next to my bed, and on low mode, it doesn't usually impact anything. However, I've tried this on a higher mode before, and woke up to my sheets a little wet from the increased wetness coming out of the front. - No button lock. I have cats, and they like to perch on top of anything that lets them. That goes for this humidifier as well, since it has a flat top. The buttons chime when they are touched (as stated in an earlier point), so I can hear it being turned on/off while I'm not in the room... Overall, there are a few things picky people will have to consider, but this is a really good humidifier if you're shopping around for one. As someone who has struggled with cleaning ordinary humidifiers, this thing easily takes first place in that aspect and really beats any competition out there. I have a Miro NR07G humidifier as well, and while it's pretty easy to clean, there's a lot more parts in comparison to this humidifier, and thus takes much longer to clean. Honestly, much more worth it, and if I had other rooms that needed humidifiers, this would be the one I'd buy for them. Read more

Have tried four other humidifier brands and this is by far the easiest to use and maintain. Super fast and easy to clean. Easy to fill (we use Pur filtered water) and easy to see when the water might be getting cloudy so you can give it a quick hand wash. No narrow parts to try to scrub! Produces lots of mist on the highest setting, while still being quiet, that gently falls on my kid’s face while they are sleeping to ease congestion significantly more than the full room or evaporative humidifiers we have tried. The mist gets everything really wet though when the water gets low, so keep it on medium and it lasts throughout the night without making a mess. Considering the $150 price tag, I'm really surprised it has no automatic humidity setting. - As mentioned, no automatic humidity setting. - Requires good amount of MINIMUM water level. So the machine stops working when there's still plenty of water in the reservoir. I purchased this for my baby's room, but it just does not work for us. We switched from a $30 Govee humidifier paired up with a hygrometer to set humidity to around 55%. Although it's not the easiest to clean, it worked very well, keeping the humidity level correctly overnight. With Carepod mini on low setting, it fogged up the room to over 70% humidity until 2am, "ran out" of water (plenty of water left in the reservoir), and stop working to leave the room dried up at 30% humidity until the morning. Sure it's "easy to clean" (even though there's a huge hole right there where it's always wet, but not accessible or submergible, no cleaning instruction exist for it in the manual), but wayyy behind on tech even compared to cheap $30 Chinese humidifiers in my opinion. This has helped my daughter by alleviating her dry nose. She would wake up in the mornings with her nose so dry it would bleed. This has worked wonderfully - she is able to sleep well through the night as it operates quietly. It is the perfect size for a bedroom - it has the capacity to cover 350 square feet. I like that I can adjust the settings ranging from low to high. The best part for me other than the relief my daughter receives from it is how easy it is to clean up! Read more

It turns off whenever it wants. This is day 3 of use, and the first day it worked great now it turns off in less than 4 hours and I don’t use the timer because I have a humidistat I use instead and in winter I can hardly get above 30% I love how easy it is to clean and actually like the quiet hum. It’s fun to watch and a really cool design, but I can’t stay home all day make sure it stays on. I fill it up all the way to the line and it will turn on before the water level gets too low. It does get water in to the air pretty quickly without changing the room temp so dramatically like traditional steam humidifiers that cook me in the winter and help mold take over my house. I want to love it, but by the time I wake up my bedroom is down from 34% to 27%. it should go up if it was running most of the night. I unplugged, changed outlets, still turns off randomly.
