This is a supplement I don't want to be without. I'm on a new bottle of it now, and will order this again. It can be used internally or externally. It can be mixed with water or another liquid to swallow, as it is very strong. I keep a bottle of this on hand in my bathroom, so at the first sign of a sore throat or cold, I apply it externally very generously. I usually mix with a little castor oil in the palm of my hand (approximately equal amounts) and rub all over my throat and behind and around my ears. If I have an earache, which I often get with a sore throat, I put a Q-Tip in the mixture and circle it just barely inside the ear as well, not deep enough to injure. When I do this before bed, my symptoms are usually clear when I wake up in the morning. You can use coconut oil, olive oil, or another carrier oil, but the benefit of castor oil as a carrier oil is that it penetrates deeper than other oils, so it has great therapeutic value on its own. I bought, but haven't used this oil yet because I really don't like the smell. Its so strong, I put it atop a kitchen cabinet and have been looking at it for weeks, reluctant to deal with it. To its credit, this oil seems very potent and the price was reasonable. I'd like to give it a try someday; Oregano Oil is supposed to have many benefits, but I just don't know if I'll be able to get past the smell. I’m going to give this five stars. It arrived very quickly. It is non GMO, organic and gluten-free. Directions on the bottle are quite clear, especially for what I am using this for, which is to bump up my immune system for some upcoming travel, and general well-being in this season of colds and flu. It smells great upon opening the small bottle, kind of like walking into a great Italian restaurant lol. This stuff gives me a burst of energy and brain clarity. Didn't expect this to happen. Actually bought this for my chickens but they might not get any of this lol. Great mouth wash also. Fresh breath all day long. I did learn after the fact that even though oregano oil is great for immune it also kills good gut bacteria. So was told to take or eat a good probiotic supplement or food like fermented garlic, Sauerkraut etc. This was advise to me, please do your own research.
