This is my second order. I don't know what it is it seems to be better soap berries than the ones I bought before. Maybe it's cuz it's ground up more concentrated on my hair. I'm so highly sensitive to soaps and have severely oily hair. If I shower at Night by noon my hair is looking oily. Getting rid shampoo has made a vast difference in my hair. Before using a soapberry shampoo you could see every broken hair or New Growth standing up on end I hated it. Now I can use this product without anything at all and my hair is Fluffy actually looks like it has body. Prior to that with my fine hair it would just lay flat to my head there was no changing that. I used to mix up a batch in advance for like a week. With this it seems it loses its ability to remove a lot of oil after a day or two. So if you have greasy nasty hair like mine mix it up in in the morning or at night and use it the next day. I also strain it again using a fine sieve if you have a nut milk bag it works good too. I don't like the grit getting in my eyes or ears. I wish they made it into a really fine powder. I'm going to keep looking until I find it or make it myself. I'm guessing the reason it works so well is they use some high quality soap berries and more fresh. Little pricey though. Read more

I wanted to stop using regular shampoo, even though i use mostly natural shampoos, i wanted to try this powder out. I know others mix this with other powders but some just use this alone with water and thats what i did. I will say it does clean the scalp pretty well, however it is very drying. I have high porosity hair and this is not good as a cleanser for it. Maybe for other hair types its okay. I might still continue to use it so its not a waste but will use conditioner to help. Might be best to concentrate at the scalp and not run it through the rest of the hair. There is nothing wrong with the product itself, just didnt work for me as well as i had hoped.
