I saw this on instagram and was wondering they would release a dedicated MagSafe one and they finally did. This thing is STURDY & STIFF. The base is strong. the arm is strong, this thing is well built. It's not cheap trash like the other ones. The magnet is STRONG requiring a bit of force to remove it but it also grabs your phone and keeps it secure. The articulation is solid as well. takes slow & precise movement to move it around but once you move it stays PUT. it comes with magnetic rings (2) cleaning pads & drying pads and and extra adhesive if you move it. This is very well packaged and very well BUILT. You will not be disappointed to buy. Read more

Carmount brand car mounts are hands down the absolute best on the market! This is my third one (all different models and used in three different cars, I've never had one break or had a single issue with quality). I have a 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback and the dash is designed in such a way that it is very difficult to find a good spot to attach a phone mount. But the design of this one is perfect for cars with a dash style that's similar to mine. I was able to mount the holder to the back of my infotainment unit and then the arm with the magnet swings out and is adjustable in every direction so I'm able to put my phone at an angle where I can easily see maps when I'm driving. The only time I need to use it is when I'm in an unfamiliar area and would like to use maps and this is so much safer than having to look down at a screen for directions. I was able to mount it so the phone is right next to my infotainment screen and can be angled in any direction, I don't have to take my eyes off the road or look down at anything. The other thing I love about Carmount brand mounts is the adhesive they use. They are rock solid and your phone isn't going to move, plus there is zero residue or damage if you need to remove the mount at any point. So many other brands leave a mark or damage once the adhesive is removed, but once you take this off, you'll never know it was there. These are the only brand of phone mounts I'll use since discovering them--they may cost slightly more than other brands, but the quality is fantastic and you aren't going to need to replace it like you do with so many of the cheap versions. Love this mount!!! very strong and easy to adjust your phone. one note though, the magnet does get VERY hot when the car sits in the sun for long periods, even with a visor. Be sure to allow time to cool before attaching your phone, otherwise your phone will overheat. Read more

I recently installed the CARMOUNT F2 Adjustable Car Mount in my vehicle and for the most part it’s delivered a very solid performance. The magnetic hold is visibly strong — the mount uses multiple N52 magnets, which gives me confidence that my phone isn’t going to fall off even when I hit a rough stretch of road. The adjustability is another highlight: I could find the perfect angle on my dashboard, rotate and tilt the phone screen without awkward repositioning, and the sleek metal design blends well with my car’s interior rather than sticking out like a cheap plastic holder. Installation was straightforward: the base sticks firmly to the dashboard surface and the mount doesn’t wiggle once mounted. I also appreciate that the company uses a heat-resistant adhesive (per their claim) so it should stand up to warmer dashboards better than lesser mounts. CARMOUNT There are a few trade-offs though that are worth being aware of. First, the adhesive requires a flat, clean surface to stick reliably; if your dashboard has texture or is curved, the mount may not grip as well and you’ll risk it loosening over time. Some users report it falling off when the surface isn’t ideal. Trustpilot +1 Also, while the magnet is strong, you’ll likely need to use the included metal plate (or install a magnetic case) to ensure a good hold—if you skip that or use a very thick phone case, the grip might be weaker. The sleek design is great, but it also means fewer bulk-features (like charging cables built into the mount) so if you want everything in one piece, you might need to pair it with additional gear. it is really hard to remove and use a second time. Overall, though, I’d say this is a very good car mount. It hits most of what you’d want: excellent magnetic hold, strong adjustability, clean aesthetic and reliable build. If you’re looking for a quality mount and are comfortable ensuring your surface is suitable and using the metal plate, this is a smart buy. If you’re looking for ultra-feature rich (e.g., built-in wireless charger, adjustable arm length) then you may want to consider that premium tier—but for most everyday drivers this one gets the job done well.
