We go through the same routine just about every year. Wait for a holiday for all the sets to go on sale and invest in the next overhyped cookware set just to be disappointed. You might believe you need to spend $400+ to get a high performance and aesthetically attractive cookware set...Nope! We've been using our full Carote set now for about 5 months. We cook a lot...you name it, we've prepared it with this set. Everything cooks evenly without any sticking and they clean up so easily. We don't even care that they're not dishwasher friendly. It's oddly satisfying to hand wash them back to perfection so effortlessly. The dark granite finish is very high end looking. They're more lightweight then I was expecting which is actually a relief... I worry about our kids chipping up our porcelain sink or cracking our electric glass top. These are very kid friendly - no more burnt eggs! You can honestly make eggs without any oil in the pan and they lift right off. Still...months later. We avoid metal utensils to protect from scratches. Get yourself a nice silicone utensil set and you're good to go. I bought this extra large frying pan and the extra large pot to complete my set. And I'm still under $200! Even our teenage daughter continues to comment on how easy they are to cleanup. No more soaking the pots first! Just buy the whole set. You'll love it. would make a great gift too. Read more

Ordered a couple pans in 2022, not only do they look good, they work great. First of all they are comfortable to use, food is cooked evenly, easy to clean, durable, and I especially like how the pans are designed to stack on each other without taking up a ton of space. These are the only pans we use anymore. Lastly, I dropped one of the pans and broke the wooden handle, tried to find a replacement, but to no avail. So I reached out to the company, to my surprise, they are sending a new pan free of charge. It was my fault, and still they replaced it. They have just made a lifelong customer. Read more

I was attracted to the Carote pan because of the natural granite coating. I’ve gone through about every other “coated” pan trying to avoid unnatural applications. [None of them ever stood up to their promises.] When I unpacked the Carote its rough surface concerned me. “This will never be non-stick!” I’m vegan [so I’m not looking for eggs to slide out of the pan onto toast] and usually do dry sautés, occasionally adding water if needed, so I was looking for a pan that would truly allow that to happen. Now I was very concerned and developing “buyers’ remorse.” When I applied oil to the pan for seasoning it, I marveled at how readily the oil soaked into the granite. I thought, “Maybe this is going to work?” I dry sautéed some tofu and the pan cleaned up perfectly. Not a hint of struggle. I don’t normally write reviews but there were so many unfavorable ones where folks found their Carote pan to be sticking. [Maybe the pan wasn't seasoned before the first use?] For me, and my style of cooking, I might have just found the pan of my dreams! [With a handle the likes of which I’ve never experienced - beautifully crafted.] Thank you, Carote. Read more

This is a great pan - light weight, easy to clean, and looks great. It is pretty durable, it seems, to light scratching when it is in the sink and forks and knives get tossed in on top of it. Like most non-stick pans, this one is sensitive to heat, and you have to be careful not to cook with too high of heat / medium high seems ok, but I try not to go much above medium. I have also taken to cleaning this more like a cast iron pan - no soap, just use a horse-hair brush to wipe it out. This seems to keep the non-stick surface working well. This is my go-to pan and I recommend it, but do recommend care when using it to keep it working in top shape and with good non-stick results for the long term. Read more

A good frying pan, convenient with a lid, food does not stick, light and roomy, not yet scratched because I do not use metal tools, but in the center the coating has already begun to change color, although there was no overheating. Read more

I love this pan.. I got the 12 inch and it is deep and wide... You can throw eggs in with no butter or oil or anything to help it not stick it just doesn't. It cooks well and when your done it is easy to clean. NOTE: Don't rinse it out right afterward because stone skillets scan shatter into a million pieces when its hot and you add water to it and you don't want that to happen to a great skillet like this. So let it cool down and you can even wipe it out with a paper towel if you wanted but i add a little water and barely any soap just to be thorough but it wipes out like nothing. I liked it so much i bought one for my parents and they like it as well. You can cook anything you would in a iron skillet but easier to clean. I recommend using soft utensils while cooking i do use a medal spatula for certain things but i am mindful to not scratch the surface too much. Just take care of it and try not to scratch it up too much and its a great Thing. Read more
