I got this bag for a recent cruise as I liked the feature of having the built-in hanging bag portion and carry-on conversion which allowed me to have my dress shirt, sport coat, and pants in the hanging portion and the rest of my regular carry-on items (and a pair of dress shoes) in the other portion once it was zipped up into the standard bag configuration. The bag has plenty of compartments and more than enough space for everything that I needed for the first day of the cruise. The bag material, and workmanship is durable and good quality. There is only one downside to the bag that I found and it's not a game changer just something I found out by mistake. If you look at my photo with the phone charging cord the center zipped pocket on the back side of the bag is not sealed or stitched at the bottom like the ones on either side. I had my passport holder in the center zipped pouch (like in the photo in the ad) and when I took it out to have it for entering the terminal I put the holder which had some cash in the slot behind it. Needless to say when I picked up the bag the holder (with cash inside) fell out - luckily for me some very nice and honest people found it and returned it to me. I have since had it stitched so that will never happen again! Overall a great value for the money, easy to use, and folds up very compact when not in use. Read more

I unfortunately didn't know how much I needed this until I was packing for my last trip the night before departing. It would have been absolutely perfect for that 2-night, 3-day in-state conference. While I haven't yet had a chance to put my opinions to the test, I have done enough traveling - business and pleasure, short and extended stay, air/land/sea - to be able to weigh in with some experience on this bag's functionality and durability. I would say my bottom line is that this bag is a very well made BUDGET-FRIENDLY option. I think it is most appropriate for occasional travel by car. I wouldn't trust it to get you through a trip around the world or for frequent travel involving handling by other people. If you just need it for a single destination wedding, it would be fine. A few short business trips a year, including by plane? I think you'd get the full year out of it. Back and forth from college to home over holiday breaks? It might last you all four years. If you travel for a living, frequently by plane, I don't think this bag is for you. I just don't think it would hold up for very long under that kind of abuse. So for the kind of trip I think it's perfect for, it's pretty great. The combination of a garment bag and a duffle bag couldn't be more convenient. Even if you take advantage of the designated shoe pocket, there is still plenty of room for roughly 3 days of clothes, accessories, and toiletries, including multiple outfits per day, depending on clothing size and season. There are lots of pockets and sleeves, including some mesh options, that may negate the need for a separate toiletry bag. I occasionally take short trips, and this garment bag is perfect for a one bag trip. It looks very professional, and the quality appears to be top notch. Judging by the thickness of the canvas/fabric, I think it’s going to be very durable, and is well worth the money. It took me an embarrassingly long time to really figure out how to zip it so that it created the “bag”, but it’s very logical. I like the long strap that can be stored in one of the pockets when not in use, but the handles are very sturdy, are just the right length and are comfortable to grip. Although this is a garment/travel bag, I could easily see it be used for a crafting bag, or other one tote solution, so I won’t limit it to just a travel bag.
