I took this everywhere with me in Japan for over three weeks. It was on planes, trains, and in automobiles, dragged over 1,000+ miles, down a stair path that went on for almost a mile, dropped, tripped over, sat on (to get everything in), and was on five different flights. This thing hardly has a scratch on it and the wheels did great! I do wish the wheels were a little bigger, but it held up well with an additional (30 pound) backpack attached to it, so I am giving the highest rating possible. I researched several carry ons and I am glad I ended up with this one on my trip. Highly recommend! I purchased the blue and the color is nice. The space held all of my laptops and it kept them safe. I travel a lot and I love this suitcase! The wheels are smooth and durable and it's very easy to pull, even on carpet. The exterior has a nice matte, textured finish that has not scratched and is easy to clean. The quality of the zippers is exceptional as is the locking mechanism. Just returned from a trip and I'm impressed with the performance of this bag. I was able to pack for a seven day trip and fit everything. I'm an admitted over packer and I had to rethink some things to get everything to fit. I also used the zipper to be able to fit some purchased made during my vacation. Seems decently durable, came thorough airport baggage handling without issue or scratch. I took off a star because it was a little bit of a fight rolling over low pile carpet. I ended up tipping it on it's side and pulling it on two wheels to keep from fighting with it. The wheels are absolutely fine on hard flooring or tile.
