Casper Original Pillow for Sleeping Standard White Two Pack

First and foremost this is one of the most comfortable pillows I’ve ever used. Idk if it’s primarily due to its filling material, bc of the pillow within a pillow design, or all of its features working together, but it delivers great support while lying on my back or on my side, while still being amazingly comfortable. If you like very thick and/or firm pillows or very thin and/or super soft pillows then this is almost certainly not the pillow for you, but if you like a comfortably soft yet supportive pillow, this pillow strikes a great balance. I just got my pillow a couple days ago, and so haven’t seen how it will hold up to repeated washing cycles and normal use, but the fact that it has an outer sleeve that zips off means it will be a lot easier to wash than any of my previous pillows. Hopefully the fill material in the outer sleeve won’t bunch up during washing, but so much thought was clearly put into the design of this pillow that i have to believe they accounted for this and the sleeve will be fine even after many wash cycles (fingers crossed anyway). One example of their attention to detail is in the zipper on the outer sleeve: it’s a high quality metal zipper pull and mechanism that has had all of its edges and corners chamfered to prevent any poking or catching. Plus it’s been coated in what feels like a polymer paint to give it a smooth finish and prevent any noise. The only thing keeping this pillow from being perfect is that the fabric is a little noisy while my head is moving around trying to find the perfect position, at least for now while it’s brand new anyway (the pillow, not my head). That’s very common with cotton fabric when it’s new though, so i feel confident that it will quiet down considerably after a couple of washes. I have unusually acute hearing, so most people probably wouldn’t be bothered by the sound it makes even if it doesn’t quiet down after washing. For now i feel it deserves top marks, so I’m giving it 5 stars. I’ll see how it holds up over time though. Hopefully its quality endures, but if it doesn’t I’ll update my review to reflect that. I have used Casper pillows for years and believe that they help with my neck issues. After a couple of whiplash injuries I have had issues with my neck for years. These pillows support my neck and for the most part, I am pain free. The pillow is soft, but doesn’t flatten out when you lay on it. There are no weird smells or crunchy noises when you move. I usually get 2-3 years out of each pillow but I am fine with replacing it when needed. Read more

I purchased this pillow after reading all of the great Amazon reviews. I’ve always had trouble finding the perfect pillow so I was hopeful this would be the one. It arrived in a small rectangular box and the pillow was rolled up inside of it. After taking it out of the box and plastic, it fluffed up immediately. I loved the feel and the quality of the pillow, but the true test came when I slept on it. The first night was a bit rough. I found the pillow to be too thick and hard and I found myself tossing and turning in an attempt to find the right position on the pillow. After the first night I was not impressed. The thickness of the pillow prevented a good night sleep for me. The second night I unzipped the outer cover and slept on the inner pillow and found it to be much more comfortable without all of the bulk. I’m on my third night and I’m getting used to it, but I will not br putting the outer cover back on. It is a nice quality pillow though, and I realize everyone has a different preference when it comes to pillows. Read more

Simply Awesome! I recently spent a couple of nights at a friend's house and their guest bed had Casper pillows...I really liked them. When I arrived home I decided that I wanted them for myself and placed an order with Amazon. They arrived promptly and very well packaged. I used them last night and can tell you they are worth every penny. I am in love. SUPER comfy and soft, yet firm enough to provide the support you need. It was a good pillow, for maybe 2-3 months? Then I started to notice that it got lumpy and it wasn't comfortable to sleep on anymore. I don't want to need to get a new pillow every few months, so I had high hopes for this one, but sadly, it's not it. Read more

While I haven’t been able to truly test this pillow long term, our boy decided it was indeed fit for a king. The first night he laid across the entire pillow and I ended up below it. This evening he decided to let me share by leaving me a little room to rest my head. Despite the additional 54 lbs of dog on it, it was soft with no odor and produced no excessive heat. I experienced no neck pain this morning and our boy seemed well rested and less stiff (he has joint issues). I will be getting another king sized for him and a standard for me :p Read more
