Smells great to humans, doesn’t damage the paint where we have sprayed, but most importantly our cat hasn’t touched the door frames that she was destroying with her claws before I sprayed them. I read the great reviews for this product and I thought for sure that it would keep my cat away from areas in my home that I didn't want her to go to. It didn't work at all! She literally went up to the areas that I had sprayed the cat deterrent and sniffed them. Due to the good reviews, this product works for other cats, but it definitely doesn't work for my cat. My cat loves going under the bed and just going to town on it. I went to spray around the bed while he was just chillin on it. As soon as I sprayed it he ran out of the room! Haha This has a very strong citrus scent and it lingered around the home for about 15 minutes, then it kind of died down. I enjoy a citrus scent, so it was a plus for me that the rest of my house smelled like it. I hope this works long-term! Read more

We have a cat that likes to scratch. We used this product, Jilca Spray, and our cat has quit scratching on the chair we sprayed, while it used to scratch this chair all the time before spraying it with Jilca. Also, we sprayed our potpourri arrangement, and our cat does not touch it now. The only down side, it has a strong scent that lingers for about an hour after your spray. Read more

I LOVE this stuff. My cats use my couch as a scratching post no matter how many times I spray them with a spray bottle, I sprayed this on my couch and they haven’t scratched it since!! And they also like to play in my fireplace, so I sprayed that too, and they came over, smelled around, and left! Nothing has ever worked this good for deterring their behavior. And the price isn’t bad either, I got my bottle for 20$, best 20$ ever spent! The smell is citrusy and pleasant, and it’s easy to spray on anything. I will be repurchasing!! Read more
