I was soooooooo skeptical about buying this. We have an ANCIENT cat (she's 17 this year). It was my moms cat and my daughter has now become her guardian. We've tried diapering her (imagine how that turned out!) and were at our wits end! We broached the subject of having her cross the rainbow bridge to live with my mom and my daughter lost her mind!!! She doesn't mean to potty on the bed but she tends to leak on her way to the cat box. In my personal opinion, the only thing worse that the nauseating, horrid smell of cat urine, is chicken manure and then THAT is only slightly worse! We needed a solution. My daughter has a waterproof blanket covering her bed but on the off chance the urine got on her bedding, we could NOT get the stain OR the odors out. We tried bleach, baking soda, carpet shampoo for pet urine stains and odors and nothing worked. We've tossed around $600 worth of bedding in the garbage. I happened to talk to a man that does carpet shampooing and he suggested this. He told me that I would NOT be sorry and he was right! We have washed EVERYTHING (even some blankets with old, set in stains and odors) that this old cat has urinated on and there is NOT ONE ODOR OR STAIN LEFT BEHIND!! I am in awe that a product this inexpensive works this well. You will not be disappointed. I'm buying another jug just to keep it on hand. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. Read more
I bought this solely because of Brogan from "Not the Worst Cleaner". My cat NEVER had bathroom issues until he went on a new medication that also made him have to pee frequently. So our poor old kitty wasn't trying to make messes so much as leaving little "dribbles" in his fur and getting it on our blankets / sheets (BARF). Even the tiny drops smelled so bad, and I tried regular laundering even though I knew it wouldn't work because Brogan's always telling us about needing enzymes to break down the proteins and truly get rid of the smell. I then figured I should try EcoStrong because if Brogan uses it then you KNOW it works. I put 1/4 cup of this in our laundry and it took away EVERY TRACE of cat pee smell! I knew it would work and was still so impressed!!! It has a super light citrus scent but nothing overpowering. So convenient, so grateful, and I will gladly keep supporting this brand as long as they support my girl. Happily influenced customer! Read more
This product really gets rid of the odor. The scent is a bit strong for us so we have to use sparingly. Customer service is fabulous. We use their outdoor product which also works great. Read more
Thank you “Notthebestcleaner” for introducing me to this wonderful product. It worked great, my precious senior cat tinkled outside of her litter box for the first time on her litter mat and once the mat got the urine smell she kept tinkling on it. I washed it so many times but she kept doing it- very unusual for her. Once I used this? She went right back to using the litter box. Boom like nothing ever happened. The bottle arrived in tact, it works wonders, and it’s science based ingredients idk something about enzymes and stuff, trust me… this is the g.o.a.t for a reason, it’s top dog stuff. I've cats for 30+ years and I've tried all the things. This actually works 🙌 It's great for cleaning small and large spots, throwing in the laundry with blankets or towels, adding to the carpet cleaner, you name it. I know it seems a little pricey at first, but that's only because you've already tried all the things that don't work. I've recommended to all my friends and will continue to. Read more
