This fountain is perfect. Our cats have accepted it as their water source and have stopped drinking out of the kitchen sink and shower. They still drink out of the bird baths when they're outside, but whatever. My little dog drinks from it too. It's quiet and doesn't splash all over the floor. It has been running for 3-1/2 weeks and no issues so far. I like the window feature so I can keep an eye on the water level. Read more

It came packaged very nicely. Its definitely great quality for the price i paid. Easy to clean. The filter works good and the pump is great. Water stream is heavy. It has a nice port glass so you can see the water level with a helpful light that is on the filter. It took a little while for my cats to get used to it. I bought it because they love to drink out of the faucet and I needed them to quit getting on the counters. They prefer a drip instead of a steady stream. But they are finally mostly adjusted to it. I found that they didnt like the metal top. So I improvised. I just have to change the water way more often and clean the pan. But its really not that big of a deal. My cats seem to be more finicky compared to other reviewers cats. I recommend this for quality and price, ease of cleaning. Its a pretty sanitary water dish. They paid attention the the fine details and the fit of everything is great. I recommend if you are looking to try one. But I only have tried this one. So I have nothing else to compare it to. I bought the kit with all the filter replacements and after the cats had a chance to check it out, they live this one! It is much easier to clean than my last one (plastic) and was a great deal with the replacement filters so that I stay on top of keeping the water cleaner. I've owned this water fountain for a few months now and I'm ready to write my review. I was a little nervous about getting this for my cat since she can be a bit skittish or just plain not interested about fancy things I buy for her (especially machines/electronics). It took her a couple days of staring at it and me gently reintroducing her to it, but now she LOVES it. She drinks so much more water than she used to. I'm deaf, so noise rarely bothers me, but my sister said that it's super, super quiet and my cat has no issues with it (the point of comparison being that I still can't wear my rain coat around her because apparently the fabric is too loud for her and she runs away). You do definitely have to remember to change the filter and clean it out or it gets kind of slimy and gross, but it actually does a fantastic job of keeping the water clean and fresh. I've just gotten into the habit of scrubbing the filter, pump, and bowl whenever I refill the water fountain and that keeps it plenty clean. (A bottle brush is really helpful for getting into some of the smaller corners of the pump.) I'd say that one, full fountain lasts my small indoor cat about a week? Though I usually refresh her water every 3-4 days. So far it's holding up well and I have no complaints! I'll write an update on that point if I have it in the future. Read more

This is a great device. It brings the water up to the cats' head level, and they much prefer it to typical water bowls. There's no whisker distress. There's plenty of room for both of them to drink at the same time. One loves water from the spout and the other loves to lap from the bottom. I often top the water off every day. It might hold two or three days worth of water without refill. The little window is designed for letting you know the water level. This does need to be cleaned. There is a sponge and water filter within that need to be cleaned on a weekly basis. The cats will often drop food in the tin and it gets caught in the filter and the sponge can begin to clog with growth if left to do so. Just because the stainless steel doesn't need a cleaning doesn't mean the rest of it doesn't. Clean weekly. Overall, this was a good purchase. I think you and your cats will enjoy this. Read more

This is by far my favorite fountain for my cats and small dogs. We have had several different styles of fountains and this tops them all. I love the fact that it’s made of stainless steel and can be easily washed and disinfected. I like how it all comes apart very easily for cleaning.
