Good build quality. Lantern head has heft and the telescopic stand is metal. The weakest link may be the plastic tripod feet. Something tells me they won't survive a rough tumble. The remote is a nice extra. It claims to have a range of 5 meters (15 feet) but I have not found that to be the case, and you better have a clear line of sight. Or perhaps the included battery was old and I need a fresh one? If you power the light on and off with the remote, the lantern retains the last used settings (mode, light temperature, brightness). If you use the power button on the lantern head, however, it does not and defaults to maximum brightness and whiteness. I give it 4 out of 5 stars due to the color temperature. Warm light is generally considered to be in the 2700K - 3000K range; 3500K isn't registering as warm. The temperature options amount to blue-white or bright-white. If ambience is low on your list of concerns and you prioritize light for working or security, then this is a good choice. Read more
