The media could not be loaded. I use my phone constantly because I DoorDash. I've bought 3 other brands of CD slot phone holders. As soon as you pick up the box you can feel the weight of the phone holder. Opened the box and this damn thing is made of metal which is stronger than the plastic ones I've used before. Easy to tighten and with metal you feel it lock in place. The phone cradle has super wide area that easily and securely holds my phone. I live in the country so there's bumps and thumps my phone stays solid and has no vibration. I am so pleased with this item I immediately ordered 2 more as the price at $10 a piece can't be beat. This is the second CD phone holder type that I've used and it's very easy to install. Only took me 5 minutes to take out the old one and put in the new one. My old phone holder was the magnetic type which worked well for many years but lately the phone has slipped off occasionally. I chose this one because the reviews were good & the shelf at the bottom that the phone sits on is the main thing I like about it. Seems to work quite well. It installs cleanly in the CD slot and tightens into a very secure hold. Once it is locked in, it remains stable with very little vibration even on rougher roads. I use an iPhone 17 Pro Max, which is a heavier device, and at first the mount held it even with a wallet case. After using it a little longer, I noticed that it grips the wallet section more than the phone, and the added weight keeps the phone from staying fully upright in that setup. When I remove the wallet case, the mount supports the phone with no issues, so this seems related to the weight and thickness of the case rather than the mount itself. I also discovered that the mount sits directly in front of my backup camera display. This was a great idea and worked fairly well for awhile. Now, though, the pads have lost their stickiness to the clamp. So, when you tighten it, the insert pops right out of the CD holder slot. If it hadn't started slipping out, would have been 5 stars. Read more
