The handle spring does not hold the hair tightly to the barrel. You have to push up from underneath to try to keep the hair in place. I had a different travel size curler before that had a nice tight spring. This one is difficult to use. Pros: It does get hot and creates good curl. Read more
I love this little curling iron. Some complain that it doesn't hold the hair tight enough, but that's a plus in my book, as I use it for calming my wonky hair, not for curling. It's very smooth and easy to use, but a word of warning: use the low setting. It's plenty hot enough. Read more
I was stupid and didn't try it out before the return window closed, which was a lot faster than normal purchases. But this thing does not turn on. It does not heat up it is completely useless. Read more
This is the second curling iron of this type I have purchased. My previous one finally needed replacing due to the finish starting to chip off the underside of the barrel clip and the barrel hair clip not holding the hair tight anymore. This is after considerable amount of use. It is the perfect size for travel and for my short hair. It may be small for a large hand to hold but I have large hands and am able to use it effectively. This little curling iron came in so handy last minute. I ordered literally the day before leaving for Mexico! It came quickly and was a great price and great size and worked very well for my trip. I am very pleased with this product . My curls kept all day and I will be using it again for upcoming business trip.
