Tourmaline hair driers are the least damaging of all kinds as of now and I enjoy it a lot. Tourmaline is a semi-precious gemstone. This hair drier does not need to be as hot as the regular one, and yet it is way more effective and dries faster due to its ionic nature. This means no more dry/fried/burnt hair, it actually locks the natural moisture inside the hair shaft, making the hair look silky and preventing the frizz. What amazed me the most is that my Asperger's' son, who has extremely sensitive scalp (so sensitive that it turns every haircut into a nightmare), was able to use it. I actually purchased this for my mom, but when I came home it was already too late. The whole box was torn to pieces and I met my happy teenager all ready for Halloween night with a wonderful hair-do. Ahhh... Son said the air was a bit to hot for him on a high setting, but medium was just perfect and dried very fast. This is staying with the son as he liked this hair drier a lot. Not that he did not ruin the gift for mom, but ok, turning it into a half full glass. The drier is pretty light, which is very good and makes it easy to use. Has three buttons, one is to regulate the strength of the air flow, second is to regulate the heat, and the third is for the cool button (it truly cools the air a lot). I had a quiet hair dryer for a long time that recently started losing heat. I couldn't find that brand and style currently. I searched a lot of hair dryers on Amazon and came across this Wazor brand that advertized as quiet, light, and with all of the same features as my old hairdryer. I received it today, took out of the box and I'm impressed by it's small size and light feel. After plugging it in and turning it on, it is so quiet compared to most hair dryers, similar to my old one, maybe even better. It's a keeper. I also like the position of the buttons. They don't easily press down while using the dryer, that is a good thing and the cool shot button is well situated. I sure don't want it accidently changing speeds or heat while I'm drying my hair and it feels like it won't do that. The negative ions feature is good for my wild hair, stryling it easily. Read more

I like this hair dryer because it is light and quiet, but I’ve had two and both stopped working after one year. The first one blew apart while I was using it. Thankfully all the pieces stayed inside the body of the dryer. When the second one started to make the same high pitched noise, I threw it away before it could happen again. Read more

It works, I use a diffuser but I keep hitting my finger on the off/on switch when I’m blow drying my hair. Wish they made one where the controls weren’t on the handle. Read more
