I can’t believe I finally found a pillow that checks ALL the boxes! I’m a dedicated side sleeper and have always struggled to get comfortable or stay asleep through the night. I picked up this orthopedic contour memory foam pillow on a whim, and I’m honestly blown away by how much it has improved my sleep. The pillow is incredibly soft and cloud-like, but still supportive—my head and neck feel perfectly aligned no matter if I’m on my side, back, or even on my stomach. My arms finally have somewhere to go other than crammed under my head, and I wake up without the stiff neck and shoulder aches I used to deal with daily. I’ve definitely noticed I don’t toss and turn nearly as much, and I fall asleep faster because I’m just instantly comfy. The cover is removable and washable (huge plus!) It still fits inside a regular pillowcase, so I get the comfort and the look I want. The foam feels high-quality—soft but sturdy, not flat or squishy over time. Best neck pillow I’ve ever had straight up. I just bought one double the price and ended up returning it because my neck pain never got better. I kept waiting because they said it had an “adjustment period” that never came. But with THIS neck pillow? It was instant. First night of sleep and I woke up with zero neck pain I’m on day 4 of 5 and I have no pain I can’t recommend this enough I love the cooking effect, how soft it is and the support it gives. It’s the best side sleeper and back sleeper neck pillow I’ve used I can comfortably lay anyway I’ve never tried stomach but I’m sure you can as well this thing is AMAZING If you’re debating between a lot of brands of neck pillows like I did, just trust me and get this one! I’m not even kidding this pillow has made a world of difference for me. Not even exaggerating. I always had a hard time falling asleep and where I’ve always been a side sleeper I always have pain in my neck and shoulders and ever since I bought this thing the pain in my shoulder is just gone. I guess because there is no strain going on. The pillow just cradles my head and gives my neck support and I sleep so much better. It’s so soft and I can’t brag on this pillow enough. I do love how comfortable this pillow is. Whether I am sleeping on my back or my side, it's comfortable. The dips are in the right places. The height is perfect all around. Supports my neck well. Sleeps cool. Comes with a cover on it but a regular pillow case works fine on it too. Added bonus that I wasn't expecting: sometimes I sleep with 1 ear bud in when my puppy is whiney. The other ear on this pillow works almost as good as having an ear plug in it. Something about the way my head presses into it creates a noise muffling seal. My 1 negative is that the separated areas on the sides for your arms when side or stomach sleeping, are not actually large enough to hold your arm in, and they are sloped, so your arm rolls out- making them useless. I’ve been looking at pillows like this for a while and decided to try this one. I was skeptical that a pillow would make that big a difference, as I’ve used a standard pillow of differing firmnesses for my entire life. I could see how the shape would be helpful for side sleepers. Wow. It was, for me, the most comfortable pillow I have ever had from the first day I’ve used it. One thing that did surprise me is that in the instructions there seems to be a weight limit, which is right at the line where I am as I am a taller and larger man (6’1”, about 220). The one thing that standard pillows have never really done well for me is support my head and fill the space between my neck and shoulders without creating some strain on my neck, often forcing me to put my arm underneath my pillow and my head on top of that. For me, this pillow fills that space perfectly taking the strain off of my neck and allowing me to have my arms down and not constantly having to adjust the pillow to get comfortable. The one thing I will say is that there are two sides of this pillow one has a slight slope, which I assume is the side that is most commonly used. Because my shoulders are fairly broad, I’ve actually been using the opposite side, which is more square. This supports my head and fills the space between my neck, head and shoulders perfectly without any strain. The pillow does have a cover on it although it feels more like there should be a cover over that. Be warned that there is no aftermarket option for pillowcases to cover this pillow. I even asked Rufus for what the best fit would be for an aftermarket pillowcase, and it gave me something that is for a similar pillow, but not shaped exactly the same so ultimately didn’t fit. What I ended up doing was going to a store and buying king-size pillowcases that would fit this pillow without restricting any of the foam. Using standard king-size pillowcases allows me to use high thread-count, cotton, allowing me to change them whenever I want without feeling like I have to disassemble the pillow, as there is a snap in the center that holds the factory case stable - that’s the center button you see in the picture.
