great vest, shoulder pads are wide and comfy after 2-3 uses (1st use might have you saying 'no more' but trust me, you will learn to adjust and endure). great for walking at good pace for 30 minutes to the 90 minute range. great for trail walking and uphill work. this vest tends to be a bit rough on the upper body IF you want to run or do sprints. easy to put on and take off, easy to buckle up and adjust and get snug....44 lbs may seem light and I waffled back and forth with the 44 and 66 lb models but am confident the 44 is the good choice for endurance work and the ability to add weight is still available. solid vest, good price, won't destroy your shoulders, good weight distribution, easy to put on and take off. Bought this for my Guy and he loves it. Snug fit. Does not RUB, nor bounce around. The weight is well balanced. Constructed of good solid materials. In use for over a month now and Working great. *Special note - the Fabric has yet to retain any "smells" - if you work out a lot you know what I mean. This is a quality product. I always do a ton of research and read reviews before purchasing most things on Amazon. This vest thoroughly met my expectations. It is well made. The iron weight inserts are worth the money if you are really going to use the vest, uposesed to the typical sand filled ones. I use Amazon Prime for the shipping, so I'm always a little disappointed when I don't get my order in 2 days. The shipping stated 4 days for delivery. I received it in 3 days, which was a nice surprise. On the bill of lading it showed it was sent next day by the maker. If that was done to get it to me more quickly, I appreciate it. This is a high quality product. Thick material, comfortable to wear, and the weights are actual molded weights that fit perfectly into the pockets of the vest (instead of little sand bags found on other models!). It's not the cheapest weight vest out there but it's a good product. Read more

Works great and doesn't rub the shoulders at all. The weights are a little difficult to get in and out of the pockets if you want to adjust the weight up and down, but that's because they are held in place so securely. They weights don't move around at all. I'd recommend this vest for sure. Read more
