I purchased the Rearview Mirror Camera Mount Holder for my car, hoping it would be a sturdy and reliable addition for my dash cam. However, I've been thoroughly disappointed with this product.Firstly, the mount's build quality is subpar. It feels flimsy and cheap, not at all what I expected for its price point. I had concerns about its durability from the moment I unboxed it.Installing the mount was another hassle. It was supposed to easily clip onto my rearview mirror, but it was a struggle. The clip either felt too loose or too tight, making me worry about damaging my mirror.Once installed, the mount did not hold up well. My dash cam, which is of average weight for such devices, seemed too much for the mount to handle. It sagged and vibrated significantly while driving, which affected the camera's stability and video quality.Furthermore, adjusting the mount to get the right camera angle was a nightmare. It was either too stiff to move or would not stay in place once adjusted.Overall, I cannot recommend this Rearview Mirror Camera Mount Holder to anyone. It's a poorly designed product that fails to deliver on its basic promises. Save your money and look for a better-quality mount. Read more

The connector is actually a bit big for the G1W-C, but I swapped it with the connector from the suction cup mount from the G1W-C and it works perfectly. If you still plan on using the suction cup mount, I recommend you spend the extra $3 and buy the official G1W rear view mount. Read more
