These are nice towels and good value for the price. First couple of washes leaves lint collector full but that is to be expected. I was initially very pleased with these towels—they were exactly the quality described. However, after washing them according to the instructions, one of the seams ripped before I had even used the towel. I contacted the company to let them know about the issue, and I was impressed with their response. Their customer support team promptly sent me a replacement towel. While it was disappointing to have a seam come apart right away, I truly appreciate the excellent customer service. I was looking for rich but subdued eggplant/plum towels for the guest powder room. These towels are not subdued - they are downright vivid. I don't expect photos to be accurately colored, but in this case, they are. I like the color, but if you're looking for deep eggplant, these are not it. On the other hand, as bath towels go, these are on the large size, fluffy and absorbent, and they didn't leave much lint in the dryer filter, and still dried pretty quickly. Being a little oversized, they're not really appropriate for our small powder room, but they're great as intensely colored bathroom set. Overall, I'm happy and will use them as I intended anyway. I spent hours researching the best towels at a reasonable cost. Some reviews were very high on these, others not so much. I decided to take my chances and, well, don't be like me. The first wash, before I even used them, I washed them with only other towels on the towel setting with Tide detergent. Low and behold, threads are already coming loose and pulling. Not to mention, I could have needed a small sweater from the lint in my dryer. These will definitely be going back. I also wasn't impressed whatsoever by the "softness" or lack thereof. I wouldn't even expect these out of generic Target brand towels, nonetheless a premium costing brand. Read more
