I have no idea. But I love that the floss isn't super stretchy as that type of floss doesn't seem to work as good. I can literally see the ick being removed from my teeth which I think is fantastic. I was concerned that it would break easily and it doesn't. It's kind of silly making floss minty, since I use it right after brushing. And charcoal -- huh? The best floss ever was "woven" -- big, fluffy, unwaxed yet easily slipped between tight teeth. I don't like waxy or plastic floss -- it just seem to slip over the teeth without cleaning them. I have been using Dr. Tung's "smart floss" and I'd say this is as good. It's very, very thin but half the cost. I'm on the fence about the fifth star! Read more
