I needed a landing spot for my Portal, so why not have a stand AND charger? This stand has worked beautifully. The dongle for this is a bit chunky, but it's one of those, "it's impossible to install it wrong cause it won't work" kinds of situations. The dongle slots into the base only one way, AND it's magnetic, so the portal drops into it without much adjusting at all. The base comes with a USB-A to USB-C cable, and the Portal itself doesn't like higher amps, so literally any 18W charger charges and powers the LEDs on this base. Plus, the LED lights just look absolute sick in low light. Really solid design, highly recommend. Read more

This charger is perfect for the PS Portal, and it looks good too. I love the fact that it has RGB functions on it, and the charging adapter fits perfectly on the system into the type c port, even with a case on it. It doesn't get in the way while you are playing either. Perfect choice of the other more expensive models. Read more

This charger definitely works with the Spigen Portal case. I read a review that stated that it did so I decided to give it a try. It is a nice charger/stand and it works great and charged well. You do have to align it properly to connect the magnetic piece to the base and it is somewhat precarious, but once connected, it charges well and you can either change the LED color or turn it off altogether by long pressing the power button on the back of the stand. My only complaints are that they should move the power button to the front and improve connection stability of the Portal to the stand. Read more

I donโt understand the negative reviews. This thing is awesome and works even with cases on the portal. The only thing I could do without is the lights. Itโs a style thing that I wish you could turn off but ohh well. Cost and working charger is worth the lights. Read more

Would not stay connected to plystation or wifi, stopped every five minutes. I tried over and over to get it to work over like two days. I looked up what to do to fix it and it literally had you jumping through hoops or having to move or mess with your wifi and settings? I buy a product I expect it to be able to turn it in and go. I'm not here to hack some system or uproot my entire set up just to be able to play REMOTELY from the same room as my playstation. It was horrible. I would not recommend this device ever. It was unplayable. I returned it after two days. It's poor quality, For the price I paid I expect it to just work. Read more

The magnetic Type-C connector is unfortunately very fragile and difficult to detach. It broke after just one week of use, which was disappointing since it initially worked perfectly with my PS Portal while using a protective case. It's a shame, as the design was ideal for my setup, but the lack of durability makes it feel like a waste of money. If you're considering buying this product, I recommend leaving the connector attached at all times and only removing it (carefully) before taking off any protective case. Read more
