Comfortable skirt. I was skeptical about the gathered hem but it is elastic and doesn't restrict movement. Windy? No problem. This skirt stays in place. The fabric is soft and of medium thickness. It is not see-through.. The patch pockets are large. I'm a huge fan of patch pockets versus side seam pockets. Personal preference. It has a gathered-tie waist. I'm in love with this skirt. True to size. I'm losing weight and I'm big ones. 5'7, 193 lbs, I'm around size 14, I got the large, 12-14. Perfect. I love the length. I can wear it high or low. The band around the bottom is so awesome. And material us perfect. I dint wear shorts so capris and skirts are what I wear in summer. I cannot wait to get more colors. I got the blue one and it’s a really pretty color. The fabric is very thin. You cannot see through it so it’s nice for hot weather. I took off one star because I thought the whole thing was corduroy, but only a little bit of it is and the rest is the thin fabric. I’m not sure how long this will hold up. I am a size 18 and the skirt is too tight around my natural waist. I wear it with a bodysuit and a long necklace and do sort of an empire waist thing with the skirt and it’s pretty cute. I might buy one in another color because I get hot flashes easily and the skirt is nice and cool so great for work (I’m a teacher). Absolutely love this! I'm 5'4", 108 lbs., and the small is perfect. I can wear it lower or pull it up to my waist (my preference); the elastic and drawstring make it work either way. With the skirt at my waist, the length works with my Chuck Taylors. Super comfortable and looks great with a basic French-tucked tee. Weight is great for most NC summer, fall, or spring days.
