I am delighted with my new Cheer Collection pillows. For me, most pillows are too soft and puffy. I like to sleep on my side or stomach, so a puffy pillow closes one nostril, which wakes me up or worse causes me to snore and wake my wife. The Cheer kapok pillow provides comfortable cushioning AND the kapok can be punched (redistributed) to raise and lower my head and allow both nostrils to be open. Beyond that, the Cheer Collection pillow appear to be very high quality. The kapok is odor free and uniform with no hint of bits of seed husks or other extraneous material. The pillow cover is a tightly woven soft and silky fabric, and has a sturdy zipper to allow access to the filling. Read more

I needed to sleep on my side as I had a total knee replacement on my right leg and had developed lower back pain by having to sit, ice and elevate my knee due to swelling. I was able to use this pillow to have back support while sleeping on my right or left side. It helped me STAY on my side and not roll back to my back. The full length on both sides gave me a much better option than a single pillow between my knees while sleeping. The new knee was uncomfortable if the other knee was on top of it. If I tried to just extend my (left) non-surgical knee over the right knee, it placed me too far forward and I could not get comfortable or stay in that position. I like that it is a full curved pillow and not segmented. I can hug the part where my head is without having an additional pillow. It gave me enough cushion to stay in that position without pain in my knee, back or neck because all were supported. Much easier than fighting with many pillows and having to reposition them. It was easy to get out of the bed by just lifting the one side and flipping it over my head. I'm 67 yrs old and never thought of a pregnancy pillow, but SO GLAD I got this! I've gotten peaceful sleep without pain with this pillow. Read more

(Preface: This is advance "permission" (haha) for all the been-there-done-that moms to laugh at what I'm about to write, lol.) So, I'm 16 weeks pregnant with my first, and I've been *stunned* at how uncomfortable I got so fast. Standing, walking, and sitting aren't too bad most of the time, but laying down... for me, it's a lovely blend of seriously-uncomfortable and somewhat-painful. I hear it's normal, at least. I was relying on my beloved body pillow for a while, but it wasn't enough. Time to grab the wallet and go pregnancy pillow shopping. After reading a ton of reviews, I settled on this one even though it's a bit more spendy. I think it's worth it for the zippered pillowcase alone. Annnnyway: It hasn't completely rid me of the discomfort and pain, nor did I expect it to. But it's lessened those quite a bit, and that made it worth every penny. I thought the part where my head goes would be too thick and give me neck pain, but it hasn't [knock on wood]. I don't understand the physiological reasons why this provides me so much comfort, but it does. Note: This thing *is* enormous, like people say. We have a king size bed, and it takes up half the bed. My husband calls the pillow Big Bertha. :-) He says he misses me, "buried over there amongst Big Bertha", but he's delighted that I've gotten some relief. I've caught him napping in it a couple times. So amusing. Size note, because I appreciate it when others include this: I'm 5'5", and on the plus-size side. This fits me pretty perfectly, though it'd be nice if the 'legs' were just a bit longer. Not enough of a complaint to take off a star, though. Follow-up: I'm now at 31 weeks, and am convinced I simply couldn't live without this thing. I'm positive my sleep quality would be much poorer without it. I even took it with me for an overnight hotel stay (traveling by car, obviously). If I could wave a magic wand, I'd make it a little longer. But that's it. And that's not enough of a detraction to merit the loss of a star. I'd still give this 6 stars if I could. Read more
