The first knife I received had rust near where the blade met the handle. Dried adhesive could be seen and there are no rivets indicating the blade is not full tang. I received a replacement quickly and it appeared much better. The handle is comfortable to hold. The blade is sharp out of the package and seems sturdy enough for cutting larger items though maybe not tougher items. Read more
Not Full Tang The handle is comfortable to hold. It's good for lighter cutting jobs. Decently sharp Read more

This review is for the boning knife. Right out of the box, I noticed that the blade had rust spots and dried adhesive(?) where the handle meets the blade. The blade also had multiple pitting marks on both sides of the blades. They weren't deep enough to feel, but they were definitely noticeable under light. The handle is plastic and had some small burrs where the two sides meet up. The blade is sharp out of the box, but given the low price and qualities mentioned above, I'm not sure how long it will hold its sharpness. The blade is pretty stiff and does not flex much. Although the handle is plastic, it had good ergonomics in my hand. For $13, it may be good as a beater knife where you don't care if it gets trashed, but for serious kitchen work, spend a little more and get a better quality knife. Read more

This knife is extremely well-made, comfortable to hold, perfectly sized, easy to wash, and has an attractive finish. The quality is just excellent! Obviously, the cost of knives and kitchen tools in general varies enormously. This price for this knife feels fair considering the craftsmanship and is overall on the lower end of the spectrum compared to others similar to it on Amazon ($15 for the Pizza Cutter 12 ınch version at the time of writing this review). So far, I am happy to add this knife to my kitchen collection. Highly recommend! Read more
Review is for the knife sharpener. I didn't have one for my kitchen, so I picked this out. It works ok for your cheaper kitchen knives. I probably wouldn't use it on a high-dollar chef's knife. But it works for me. It grips my marble countertop nicely, no issues with that. Easy to use. It can fit in most kitchen drawers. It would have been nice it it came with some replacement stones. So I guess that makes this sharpener more of a disposable item, shame. Read more

The SürLaz Chef and Butcher Knife Ultra Sharp Stainless Steel Blade, Ergonomic Non-Slip Handle, Multipurpose Professional Kitchen Knives's for Meat, Vegetables, and More 12 ınch (Pizza Cutter 12 ınch) is 12 inches overall, including the handle. This is clearly indicated in the listing, although I glossed over the listing and made an assumption that 12 inches was the blade length. That said, I'm neither impressed or disappointed with this knife. It seems to be decent quality. I wouldn't call it professional, mainly because the blade sleeve says it's not recommended for dishwasher use. It's not full-tang, but at this price I didn't expect full tang. I do like the rounded edge, as there are times when the kitchen gets crowded and this would be nice for prep work without worrying about accidentally stabbing anything with a pointed tip. My wife wanted this to slice pizza on our cast iron pizza pans. There's a lip on our pans that the traditional pizza cutter won't let us cut. She thinks she can go in and finish cutting the pizza with this. The heel of the blade might be fine, we haven't wanted to use any of our other chef knives because he cast iron will dull the blade. However, I'm hoping the blade will hold up well enough that we can also use it for other things as well. At any rate, this knife does look well suited to dicing vegetables, and I think that's where it would shine. Carrots, cucumbers, celery, that sort of thing. I also expect it to work for thin cuts of meat, chicken or fish. I wouldn't consider it a butcher's knife, though, because I don't trust the handle too stay attached if the knife is subjected to a lot of force. After sharpening and honing, I expect it will be fine for light kitchen duty. That said, I have several full-tang French knives and I don't see this replacing any of them in the kitchen. It would be perfect for grill-side prep outside, though, and that may be where it ends up when it's not cutting pizzas. Read more
