This was my first ever espresso machine and I've never worked as a barista or had any experience with making coffee other than drip. For under $100 ($80 when I bought it), I would HIGHLY recommend this product. I bought this back in August (2023) just before the fall semester started in hopes I could whip up a quick latte before my 8 am class. I didn't always have enough time to froth the milk with the attached steam wand, but the espresso never disappointed. This machine is extremely easy to use, beginner friendly, and budget friendly. I bought a coffee bean grinder separate and I grind my own beans for the week and seal it away in an airtight container then brew the freshest espresso before I start my day. When I received it, I had not yet made it to the store to buy espresso. I made a latte out of fine-ground flavored coffee. It was delish. As others have noted, the cup size needs to be smaller than a regular cup of coffee (hello- it's espresso!) I ended up using a glass jar and pouring into my coffee cup. It worked fine. So I love this espresso machine. It makes a great cup.. (I’d love it even more if it made four shots instead of maximum 2 😉) but besides that; I’m very particular about my frothed milk for my mochas. And my $45 espresso machine frother worked better. So I ended up spending $25 on an actual milk frothing machine and now it’s perfect. But before I wasn’t really satisfied with the coffee because of that so just beware! Read more

We bought this after a similarly priced unit that we got for Christmas failed us. The other unit was mostly made out of plastic and the steam escaped from every seam while you were brewing your espresso, which meant there was nothing left when it came time to steam/froth your milk. After looking around to see if any of the other affordable machines looked a little more solid, we finally took a chance on this one. I am happy to report that all of the components that need to be metal, are. The steam pressure builds up like it's supposed to and there is plenty of pressure to steam/froth your milk to your preferred consistency. I like how easy it is to use and how little space it takes up on the counter. It's a low-cost option, so you're obviously not getting a perfect product, but we've been using it for two months now and it does the job and is still holding up well. I'm returning for a few reasons. 1 this machine is OMG SUPER LOUD. 2 u have to leave it on or u have to "prime and heat" the machine every time you turn it on and that takes about 3 minutes to do. 3. The single shot is not a single shot at all its just drippings. First I thought hum maybe it's new so I ran it 6 or 7 more times and it got to about a half of a single shot espresso, so I tried 2 shot button well that produces 1 espresso shot, I tried 7 times 1 shot every time when I hit the 2 serving button. Very disappointing. The scooper is way to big for both 1 and 2 shot tins it's messy too. You can not put a regular coffee cup under to catch the espresso so you will need to buy short cups or an espresso craft (for this price it should come with one) the plus side I love the water tank it holds a lot of water. It does produce a nice espresso sadly too many negatives to want to keep. Read more
