DO NOT BUY ANYTHING CHEFMAN BRAND. Go to better Business bureau and look up complaints filed to get true comprehension of this company's horrible service. All of their products apparently seem to break quickly. Amazon only gave me 30 days, it broke in 43. Simply turned off in the middle of heating for 2 minutes, have done everything they've said to do and it will not turn back on. Contacted chefman thru their website, like they said I should. Told me I had to wait 7 days and they would contact me. They also have on their recording, and on the website, if I contact again through email before 7 day waiting period is over, I'll be put at the end of the queue. I, not so patiently, waited 7 days. Now I've been calling and calling their lines are always full for the day, recording says immediately that their q is full for the day! Personally, I have never heard of such BS. Stay away I don't think I will ever get my money back. I'm disgusted that Amazon carries this product at all. They really should consider dropping this line of horrible appliances that are not backed up by the manufacturer. I bought 3 of these for work not knowing anything about the brand. It's a machine shop so the more black appliances you can get the better off you are. If it's white it will show every dirty finger print and never come clean. These work really well, they are quiet, heat things quickly, and it's a joy to see people try to open them that have no idea where the button is for the latch release. These are a great buy for an everyday microwave. They aren't overly huge or to small. We have all 3 lined up next to each other on a stainless table. Read more
Pros: Great quality. Well made. Cord length very good. Easy to install. Locking door handle.❤️ Con: Instructions packed locked inside the microwave. Grandma here😁 couldn't open the microwave door. You must search for instructions online to learn that the door has a child lock on it.😅 ♦️So, the locking door handle is both pro/con. But it is a valuable aspect. The manufacturer needs to place a "Quick Start" guide outside of the locked microwave. It is a great value for the money. I would highly recommend its size if you have limited counter space. The media could not be loaded. October 31, 2025 Bought this thing in March. My only use was power level 2 - Maybe thats why mine lasted longer than others. I found that there is a 1 year warranty and I started the warranty process that includes the necessary video of the malfunction. Tripping the breaker with every attempt to use it. Then I looked at the recent reviews and saw everyone having similar issues and some owners that had followed the warranty issue needed to find a box and ship the item back at their own cost ! But the item was still listed on Amazon for sale. I contacted Amazon they are removing the item. GREAT but the biggest surprise is how Amazon treated me. FANTASTIC. I have had a giant surprise of a refund from Amazon. I am a large volume customer. But not a frequent reviewer. THANK YOU AMAZON It is IMPOSSIBLE to see inside. The light is just the WRONG in every way. My estimation it is 2700k or LESS and LESS than 15 watt incandescent and the bulb causes the interior surface to get very hot and only takes seconds to cause this. If you accidentally left the door ajar (which you may not notice because its dark) there would be a problem. On top of the interior cavity being DARK grey and the door screen is very dense. If you only cook at night you can ‘almost’ see in. But I love the control pad. Read more
This Microwave was purchased June 25, 2025. I used it maybe 5 times, the last time I was using it was on or about July 27, 2025. While reheating baked chicken the Microwave stopped working. I checked the outlet and it was fine, I moved the Microwave to another outlet and still nothing. I have been getting the runaround from Amazon as well as the Manufacturer. I took pictures and videos as requested and waited days for a response. I finally received a response from the manufacturer to return it for further investigation. We'll I no longer had the box so I received a return label and had to go to UPS to send it back. The box and packaging cost me a additional $25.00. This Microwave is trash and so is the customer service. I still do not have a Microwave and requested all my money back. Well that is TO BE DETERMINED as it takes 3 to 5 days to get a response.
