Tired of waiting for my old-school kettle to boil, I decided I wanted an electric kettle. This one boils water very quickly (like in about 3 minutes!) and has an automatic shut off, so there's no worry about forgetting to turn it off. It's built well, looks great on our countertop and super easy to operate and clean. We mainly use this to make tea, but it'd be great for making pour-over coffee, too. I am happy with this purchase and think it's a good value for the quality and reliable performance it delivers. I highly recommend this kettle. Read more

Love how small it is! I have a small kitchen counter. I use osmosis water to make herbal tea at night. 17 oz is (.05L) is pretty accurate as I measured. And you cannot turn it on with any less water. Max water is .8L and accurate. The keep warm button must be pressed immediately after the water is heated and the beeper goes off. Beeper isn’t super loud and I don’t see steam coming out of the top or spout. It will turn itself off after it is done..makes me feel safe. So if you have headphones on the keep watch. Easy to rinse and dry in rack. I’m hoping it lasts awhile. Including pics of sizing and weight in case you travel with it. Sorry if it looks like the measuring stick is off…iPhone distortion. Ugh. I haven’t had any leaking. Got the black color. Used now for a month. Read more

Perfect for pour-over coffee without needing a separate gooseneck equipped container for pouring. This replaced my other Chefman kettle at the office (still going strong, just supplanted) for the ease of use it provides. The base is stable and not prone to sliding, and the kettle itself is stable on my desk making me feel safe having it near my co-workers' errant elbows. The kettle promptly shuts off when the water is boiling, without stopping too soon. The water level indicator window makes water levels easy to see. Cleaning is not difficult, but my hand does not fit inside so I have to use a brush on a stick, but this is mitigated by using good water to avoid calcification. The boiled water has no extra flavors or particles, smelling and tasting as expected. This is more important for me than it may seem because I'm very sensitive to flavors that do not belong. This kettle has been working well, and looks to last a long time just as the previous kettle (now sitting on the shelf for mass hot water for tea and coffee emergencies), and is attractive on the corner of my desk. It is as described and pictured in the listing, so there is no need to add images. 5/5 stars -- I'm considering another for home. Read more

Great kettle! You can get around 3 1/2 cups of water for tea or coffee from one filling, very convenient. Heats up pretty quickly and I love the neck. It's a little hard to see the water fill line for the older folks, but other than that, I love it! Highly recommend, it's a nice, sleek, black color. Read more

After using it for a few months, we like this electric kettle overall. It boils water reasonably fast and is not bigger than it needs to be for us. The grippy rubber feet on the base keeps it from easily sliding around on the countertop and the kettle itself is easily lifted off its base with one hand. Blue LEDs indicate when it is heating. Two nit-picks, though: 1. After the first day of use, some corrosion or oxidation spots appeared inside on the heated metal bottom . We use reverse osmosis filtered water and this surface looks like it is stainless steel so I don't know why spots would appear. So now, after taking the hot water we need, we pour out any remaining water (for plants) and flip the power on for a few seconds to quickly evaporate the film of water left on the bottom. With that routine, the spots have not gotten worse. 2. The plastic mesh across the spout was much too fine. In order to get enough "head" to force water through the mesh, you would have to tip the kettle so far that water would pour out around the lid and make a mess. Not so great design engineering. My solution was to cut away the plastic mesh with a sharp knife. Yes, I would recommend this kettle, assuming that it will keep working well for at least several more years. Read more

I love the gooseneck pour spout on this tea kettle. Heats water quickly and I like the auto shut off feature. Easy to fill and clean. The whole pot gets hot so you can only touch the handle. Also looks cute on my counter. Read more

The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using the Chefman Gooseneck Kettle and I’m genuinely impressed. It boils water super quickly (in about 3 minutes) which makes my morning routine much easier, especially when I’m rushing out the door. The blue LED lights are a nice touch so I can see when it’s actively heating, and it automatically shuts off when it’s done, which gives me peace of mind. The gooseneck spout makes it easy to pour without spilling everywhere, which I love for making pour-over coffee. I also appreciate that it lifts off the base for cordless pouring and has a water-level viewing window so I can see how much water I’m heating. It feels sturdy with its stainless steel design and looks really nice on my counter. The one-touch operation is super convenient, and it’s small enough to fit without taking up much space. Overall, if you’re looking for a fast, stylish, and easy-to-use electric kettle, this Chefman gooseneck is worth it. Read more

I use this kettle to heat up water for my pour-over coffee, hot chocolate, tea, etc. The kettle heats up quickly, and seems to come to the correct temperature. It has an auto shut off if you don’t remember to unplug it. I have had no problem cleaning it although I never try to clean the spout like I probably should. I think a straw brush would work to clean the spout. I like the matte black color because it fits in with any decor. The handle is big which is nice so I don’t burn myself when picking up the kettle. I had that problem with my last kettle. I wouldn’t say the kettle is amazing quality, but it is a good value for the money. I have been using this kettle for 3 or 4 months now and have had no issues. If you are looking for a decent kettle at a decent price, I would recommend this model. Read more
