After an early demise of my kitchen aid K400 (absolute garbage), I did a little sleuthing and came across strong recommendations for the Chefman Obliterator. I saw a black friday sale and decided to pull the trigger - for $50, I couldn't really go wrong. Wow. This blender is incredible. It's quiet, powders dry ingredients and purees wet things very quickly, and is super easy to use and clean. It does everything better than the kitchen aid while costing a fraction of the price. I'm super impressed. The only drawbacks are that there is no off switch, so it has some constant power draw when plugged in, and if you overfill the lid will leak a little. But the latter is probably by design so hot ingredients don't build up pressure when blending, and easily avoided. We'll see how long it lasts, but even if I get two years it will have lasted longer than the Kitchen Aid for far less cost. Read more

Love this blender. I've only used this with the portable, small cup. I wanted something with good power, adjustable controls, well made, but with the efficiency of the small portable cups. This is it. The cover/base that locks in to the machine is heavy since it's made out of metal, not cheap plastic (which is the part that broke on our last machine). It doesn't show measurements other than the 20 oz mark. It has several settings, including an auto blend I love using. It detects how much power it needs and blends accordingly. Sometimes, if ice gets stuck, it seems like it uses more power than even level 5; it's VERY Strong, and it always manages to crush all the ice & frozen fruit, even when I may not have put a lot of liquid. It also individually has 1-5 and pulse mode. The clean setting is pretty cool too. It's a really good price for such a well made blender. (And I haven't even tried the big cup yet) Read more

You want to blend? Puree? Make a smoothie? This thing will knock your socks off. It literally obliterates everything, which is what I wanted. Tired of blenders that don't quite get everything mixed and pureed? Tired of those stupid little hand blenders that are supposed to make great smoothies but woudn't chop the requisite ice if it's life depended on it? This is your new friend. It DOES make quite a loud noise. If you have a sleeping baby or are trying to watch TV in the same room, forget it. It sounds like a B-52 bomber taking off. But, it's worth the noise. No odor, no gasket that accumulates your last 20 smoothies until you finally remember to peek under it and find the crud. Sharp blades will handle anything but rocks. No smell, no tasted. Diswasher safe. A great feature is that it's weighty, and very non-skid, so it doesn't travel across the countertop. Sleek design, we leave ours out all the time. Happy to find a blender that is finally, a blender that rivals a drink counter. Read more

The blander itself is fantastic, works super well, cleans easy, is a touch below standard noise level for a machine this size. It blends well. I took one star off because the bottles that it comes with cross-thread incredibly easily due to a malformed mouth of the bottle. It is slightly egg shaped, and causes you to have to try several times to get the lid on straight so it doesn’t leak all over. I’d go for the option that doesn’t come with bottles, and get ones by a different manufacturer. The actual machine itself, and the full size reservoir, work wonderfully and I would definitely recommend!! Read more

We bought another product before this one bc the mfr's picture showed the blade was removable, which was not the case. This is a powerhouse of a machine, is easy to clean AND get all of the mixture out without having to worry about blades being in the way. I also love the suction bottom and that the whole thing is lightweight. We only have a microwave on the counter, so this blender is very easy for me to put away. Read more

How did I love my Obliterator . . . let me count the ways. Cuts thru ice like butter. Makes best smoothie I could ask for. Simple to use, easy to clean. Dependable! UNTIL IS WASN'T. After couple of months, the rubber o ring in travel mug portion of blender started detaching, often ending up in my drink (it's a little chewy, don't recommend). After some trial and error, I found a makeshift tool and figured out how to return it to it's groove. It kept coming out and now is stretched out to a point that it is difficult to fix. Chefman looks like it has good warranty so I reached out to customer service and they were very nice saying all the right things. Their rep asked me to fill out form describing product failure and send pictures confirming same. Completed the form and sent pics over a month ago. So far, Chefman has failed to respond. Nothing, nada, zip, bupkis. It started so well, I was so hopeful. A big corporation doing the right thing for the little guy customer. Oh well. Anyway, multiple emails and phone calls to Chefman, and still no response. MY REVIEW SUMMARY: IT WORKS TIL IT DOESN'T, AND GOOD LUCK CONTACTING CHEFMAN CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Read more

I bought the blender back in February of 2025 and just now leaving a review in October of 2025. I wanted to get a few rounds out of it with different things before leaving my review. Anyways, I’ve used this mostly for smoothies and very often at that. It works great! Watermelon juice does well in the blender too. I did my first nut butter today in it using 3 ups of mixed nuts that took about 30-45 minutes between using the pulse feature and the 1-2 level features. The auto blend feature just didn’t work for that type of substance which I was fine with. I have patience and it brought me joy to make it. It worked well. The auto clean feature I was not thrilled about, you need more water than soap for what the instructions say (lesson learned). I was also fine with hand washing this item, but it can be washed in the dishwasher. The device is a little loud but nothing that anyone can’t handle when you’re going to Juice spots like Jamba Juice. I’m looking forward to doing more especially soups/purées in this. Read more
