Save your money!
I purchased this unit to sharpen my Gerber folding knife with partial serrated blade. The front half of blade came out fine but the serrated did not sharpen using their instructions. I contacted Gerber Knife Co. and was told that there is no sharpener for my serrated blade except a single pull file that has to be done manually. That is so time consuming even they do not offer that service. Read more

Quick and easy way to keep your knives tuned up
This is so easy to whip out and give a quick honing to your knives. The second stage is supposed to be more like a sharpener, but really it's for honing a knife that's been more abused or neglected. I have the Chefs Choice electric three stage sharpener as well, but normally use that once or twice a year on my most used chefs knives, and for sharpening friends and relatives knives that don't take care of them.
