I love this item for the quality and the price. It was super easy to put together. It is perfect for my mini Dachshund to be able to get up to the couch. It is a good size. Perfect for my Dachshund. These stairs are very soft but firm enough to not sag under weight. They have a grippy bottom so they don’t slip on tile (which I have). I also like that the outside is removable for washing. They look nice with any decor. Read more
This is a wonderful addition to our front room couch and the 8# Havanese that claims it as her own. She was a bit wary when we set it up but it didn't take long to figure it out. One or two treats on the couch and bingo, up she went. It gives her a whole new sense of freedom and surprisingly she really is a new dog. Note: the step comes vacuum packed to reduce volume. It's pretty sturdy and is easy for my dog to jump on. It also can stay in place pretty well. I would advise checking to see if the size is what you want, as it only goes to about half the height of my very average sized bed. I will also warn that my dog eventually decided that this staircase would be a target for chewing- it's decently resistant, but it can definitely be tore up, just be aware. Read more
I tried different steps but my dog would not even get on them. These are perfect. I’ve actually bought them twice. A short one and a tall one they’re soft. The dog can literally run up the stairs to my bed. It’s amazing. One tip I would give you is when you unpack the foam make sure you take the time to line up the outer cover correctly because once you undo the foam, it expands very quickly. Read more
Perfect for my Chihuahua. Instructions say after 48-72 hours the foam stairs will fully expand and form their shape inside of the cover it comes with. Extrenely easy to assemble. After just 12 hours of setting it up, my dog is already learning to use it with my guidance. Shes 14 and very scared of stairs and skittish in general. But because of how the product is designed, she doesnt treat it as regular stairs. She's even happy sitting and laying on it. Highly recommend for small dogs whether they have a fear of stairs or not. A 4 step version would probably have been better for her height wise, since my bed is literally one step too short, but she's slowly learning to jump from the top step to the bed. It does take up a little bit of room if the room itself is small and compact, but it was almost a 99% perfect buy for her. If I had additional space in my bedroom, 4 steps would have been 100% perfect for her. Its very sturdy, easy to put the cover on it, and extremely comfortable texture wise. For my twin sized bed, the height ends at the box spring and I have average sized mattress (no pillow top) and box spring. It easily unfolds itself within the cover and forms perfect just as the advertised picture. It will take time to her to get fully adjusted to it, but she is already makinh huge strides on day 1, which completely shocked me. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS ITEM FOR ALL SMALL DOGS. Love these stairs! My 7 year-old small basset girl was unable to get up on the couch and had to be lifted each time she wanted up. We already had a dog step but it was too large and intimidated her efforts. These stairs are perfect for her size, not too big as to take over the room, a nice grey color that blends into our decor (other colors available) and lightweight for travel.
