I am beyond impressed with this knife set! From the moment I opened the box, I could tell this was a high-quality product. The knives are beautifully crafted with a sleek, modern design that looks great on my kitchen counter. But more importantly — they perform exceptionally well. Each knife is razor-sharp right out of the box and slices through meats, veggies, and bread effortlessly. I especially love the chef’s knife — it’s perfectly balanced and feels great in the hand, making prep work a breeze. The handles are ergonomic and comfortable, even during longer cooking sessions. The set includes all the essentials, and the storage block keeps everything organized and within reach. I've noticed no dulling after weeks of daily use, and they're super easy to clean too. If you're looking for a dependable, stylish, and professional-quality knife set without breaking the bank, this is the one. I highly recommend it to home cooks and pros alike. You won’t be disappointed! Read more

These are a steal for the price .Very sharp, packaged well and good quality. Bought a set of Henkel knives which were three times as much and would not stay sharp. Read more

You know what - for under $30 this is a GREAT set of knives. I read the reviews that the knives stained, or they didn't stay sharp or they were cheap. THEY ARE UNDER $30. THEY ARE NOT FORGED IN THE FIRES OF MORDOR. They are not meant to last 50 years! For thirty bucks, I can buy another set if they get ratty. After 2 months, they are still good. My response to the complaints - 1) The knives stained - wash them by hand and dry them and put them away immediately. No stains for me yet. 2) They don't stay sharp - mine are still good, but buy a knife sharpener for a couple of bucks and sharpen them. Still better than buying a $300 set of knives. 3) They are cheap. You know what, yeah, they are. They don't have superb balance. They aren't Swedish steel. They aren't lovingly cradled in a black pakkawood handle that sings an angelic Hallelujah chorus when stroked. Angles do not weep when these knives are unsheathed. They cut stuff. They work. FOR UNDER $30. Read more

These knives are really really good. I got these for my mom as a gift and she really likes them. She doesn't like to use the wooden block because she doesn't like a lot of clutter on the kitchen counter, so she puts these knives in the drawer. The knife that they show in the picture, however, isn't as big as regular knives. I personally like this because it's small and convenient without it being to bulky. It also cuts food very very nicely. I particularly like to use it to cut parsley because it can cut it into very fine pieces. Every time I need to cut something in the kitchen, I use the knife shown in the picture because I just love it so much. And because I don't make very big meals and only cook occasionally, I don't need the bulkier bigger knife that we have. The only reason I gave this four stars instead of five was because I really was expecting to get a bigger knife. I also like the handles because they clean very easily and don't get grease stuck on them. They're also good because the metal part goes all the way to the end of the handle, unlike cheaply made knives that stop where the handle meets. Overall, I love this set, and I use these knives all the time. Definitely recommend. Read more

I recently upgraded from a basic budget knife set, and the Chicago Cutlery Malden collection has been a huge step up. Right out of the box, the quality is obvious. The stainless steel knives look sleek and modern, and the wooden block adds a warm, professional touch that fits perfectly with my kitchen décor. It looks clean and stylish without being too flashy. The knives are well-balanced and feel solid in the hand. I really like the contoured handles—they’re comfortable to grip and make prep work feel easier and smoother. So far, they’ve cut everything with ease, from slicing vegetables to trimming meats. I also love the built-in sharpener in the block. It’s such a smart, space-saving feature that helps keep the blades sharp without needing to buy a separate tool. That said, I ran into one big issue. I accidentally left one of the knives in the sink overnight, and by morning it had rusted significantly. Not only did the blade rust, but it also left a large rust stain in my sink. That was really disappointing, especially since I assumed stainless steel would be more resistant. I now make sure to dry each knife immediately after washing and never leave them wet or in the sink. Overall, this set has been a great upgrade in terms of both looks and performance. Just be cautious about keeping them dry—these definitely require some care. Still, for the price and functionality, I’d recommend them if you’re looking for a solid, attractive knife set. Read more

Great set! I got these to replace another set I had which went through the dishwasher one too many times. The handles started to crack apart. I got this set primarily because the steak knives don't have serrated edges!! All new knives are pretty sharp, and these are no exception. Super sharp. Blades are solid. Not flimsy at all. The handles are surprisingly good! They fell like Buna-N material. I cut the T-Day turkey and the knife didn't slip around because of the juice/grease. Good thing...because did I mention they're sharp?! lol 10/10 would recommend. Read more

I couldn’t resist buying these knives, they were so cheap. I was pleasantly surprised when I received them. The blades were thin but very sharp. I cut through a two inch thick chuck roast with minimal exertion. I used one of the smaller knives. The one with the hook. The feature That drew me to the knives was the wooden handles, look good and feel good in your hand. Now I’m not saying they are the best knives in the world but that are worth far more than their selling price. Read more
