I wouldn't consider this ugly! It's actually somewhat cute, but I can see how it would fit an ugly sweater party. It's pretty heavy actually, well made and thick. But since it's knit, it is also breathable. Best of both worlds. The colors are really bright and festive. Since it buttons so you can always layer it with a lighter shirt underneath. This is a much heavier-weight sweater than I expected, since most "ugly christmas sweaters" are made of cheaper, thinner material. This seems to be well made and durable. Also great that it can be washed in the washing machine, since my other 'ugly' sweaters all have some kind of decoration that means they can't be washed. Note that there is an extra button attached to the tag inside the sweater, don't forget to take it off before you wash it (like I did). I am beyond pleased with this JATEBI Christmas sweater. The quality of the knit is top-notch and the print is adorable. I vacillate between a size medium and large, and decided to size down and order the medium. I'm so glad that I did! The length of the sleeves is perfect, and the button-up opening at the front shows just the right amount of shirt underneath. This looks festive and upscale with my dressy black pants and easily coordinates with any of my solid black, red, green, or white t-shirts. I would call this knit a medium weight, making it great for layering, and a warm sweater, but probably not as an outer coat in the cold weather. This will be my go-to sweater all holiday season. From the ad pictures I didn't think that the "Black" option (with the Santa faces) was that ugly. But when I put it on, yep, it qualifies as an ugly Christmas sweater. The icons on the sweater are big and a little cartoonish in person. Also, the face of the Santa is a neon yellow. That right there makes it cheesy. The fit, I got a medium, is very generous. I'd size it as a large. The sleeves are plenty long and so is the bottom hem. There is an odor to it but after washing in cold and drying full heat there was no shrinkage. I think one more washing will remove the last of the chemical odor. The sweater is smooth to the touch on the inside and outside (it's acrylic) however against bare arms I found it slightly itchy (but not wool itchy). For December it will be quite cold, so I'll have a long sleeve shirt on anyway. The material is substantial, and it didn't pill from washing. The red trim pops in terms of color. The buttons work and the cardigan doesn't gap between the buttons. The sweater definitely has weight and hangs nicely when worn. Read more

My wife says it's comfortable and is not itchy like most ugly sweaters are. The quality is pretty good, should hold up for a few years, just make sure not to use any super abrasive cleaners on it in the wash. Read more

I love everything about this JATEBI Christmas Ugly Cardigan Sweater except its size. IT RUNS SMALL! I ordered an XL and I should have ordered an XXL. I will wear it unbuttoned, so it doesn’t pooch where my tummy pooches. The sleeve length is nice, the weave is nice, the designs are nice, the colors are nice. I really like it! Oh, and BTW, it is NOT an ugly/funny sweater. It’s a beautiful sweater, one which I will enjoy wearing to our Christmas Parties during the holidays. Unbuttoned, of course. Read more
