These tear away pants were absolutely perfect for my knee replacement surgery. If you’ve ever had to go through something like this, and you have your leg needing to be exposed for a doctor or home health, etc. they have sturdy snaps on each side that unsnap all the way up making it so easy to put on and off. This was by far my best choice for my knee replacement surgery. It made things so much easier for myself and eased putting on pants making it so simple. I ordered the pants for my wife. She fell and tore the ligaments in her right knee. She is in a brace from her thigh to ankle. Regular pants / sweat pants don’t go over the brace. The weather is in the 40’s so shorts aren’t an option. I looked on Amazon and saw the pants. We ordered a pair and they worked amazing. We have ordered 2 more. It has made getting her dressed a lot easer. When she went to her doctor he commented on how well the pants work and was going to recommend them to his other patients. I received the athletic pants in a timely manner. They do run on the longer side(I’m 5’9), however they do have a thick elastic band around the ankle. These are better to wear in the fall and winter seasons as the material is a bit thicker. I need to say that I am very disappointed in this product as the snaps down the outside of each leg come apart to easily - total wardrobe malfunction! Three of the snaps just do not snap whatsoever. I had foot surgery and have not been able to put any pressure on that foot. And of course I have a big clunky boot on it. Being able to unsnap the pant legs makes it so much easier to get my pants on and off. The snaps are very secure and stay secure until I purposely unsnap them. They are very comfortable too. These are pretty cool-looking pants. I bought them to wear to a tattoo session on my ribs and down my hips and thigh. It helped to allow access to my side but keep the rest of myself covered. For those who prefer pants rather than a skirt/dress...for a checkup two weeks after hip replacement surgery, didn't have to struggle taking pants on or off...just sat there while the tech snapped the pant leg open (& later close) to have MD check on the stitches. I'm also very short so the pants having the thread ankle cuffs, I didn't have to worry about pants length. Very comfortable. I would also just use it as pants to wear around the house. Read more
