These balls are made out of some kind of different material than the Kong balls. My puppy destroyed all his generic and Kong balls. I actually happened to come across Chuck It! At Costco. They had a throw kit and I was impressed with the quality. So I went ahead and purchased some more balls on Amazon to have a few in the car and in camping gear. He has Shredded the outside fibrous layer a little but the ball remains intact. And it is his favorite toy! He's a happy boy Read more

Black lab tore these apart. They were great for the little dogs, but the lab just destroyed them! Not sure if that's good or bad. She loved them, though. Chihuahua liked them for a few minutes then moved on to a nap. Pug didn't even acknowledge it's existence. Read more

Must have gotten a defective ball in our two pack because one of the balls split after about 10 minutes of use. Our dog only weighs 25 pounds and the other ball in the pack has held up under about a weeks worth of play so far. Not worth the effort or the gas to return it. 2/28/25: Changed our rating from 2 to 4 stars after the company replaced the defective ball. They donβt have a warranty for this product since they claim it is a βfetchβ toy and not a βchewβ toy and they have no control over how it will be used. Fair enough, I guess. The replacements have held up as expected. Read more

Durable, great launch and land ball. Does not shred as I've seen with other "tennis ball" types. Easily cleaned (hose and rub off dirt readily!) had this ball several months now and it is my dog's favorite!! She plays fetch with it everyday. I have the ball launcher too and am delighted. I highly recommend it Read more

I would give this ball 0 stars if I could. Chuckit is a well known brand and I did not expect this ball to be of so poor quality. My dog literally destroyed the ball in 5mins and even ate half of it. DO NOT BUY this ball. It is literally two halves poorly glued together. Read more

If your dog is a fetcher like mine, then you need these. They have a great bounce and roll to them. My favorite part is the bright orange color of these balls. They are easy to find for both you and your dog, especially when they are rolling into some long grass at the park. Get a bunch of them, you won't be disappointed. Read more

These dog balls most closely resemble an actual tennis ball, so they have a soft feel and some good bounce when they hit the ground. They are also heavy enough that I can throw them with precision, which is important because my dog loves to snatch them out of the air on a single bounce. What can I say? Sheβs an athlete. Unfortunately, while returning the balls, she chews them incessantly all the way back to me. Therefore, she can break a ball in a single night. While the description says "durable," I found that these are rather "fragile" when in the jaws of a large animal who plays rough. Now, if you have a little dog or a gentle dog, the balls will definitely last longer, but bigger, more aggressive dogs will tear these apart at the seams very quickly. Speaking of seams, the issue seems to be in that exact spot. I can "feel" the seams when I take out a new ball, which is odd. Usually, tennis balls are put together more precisely to hide the seams. Having said that, the market for orange balls is limited, and for some reason, she will not chase any other color. No yellow. No green. No blue. No red. Just orange. The ball has to be orange, or she refuses to play. Therefore, I keep buying these over and over knowing they will break quickly because, well, I love my dog. Read more
