I’m reading the peplum trend is making a strong comeback for 2026. I have always loved the peplum style because accentuates the waist for a feminine yet powerful silhouette. When I saw this pretty pink peplum cardigan sweater I had to get it for my mom. It blends a bit of vintage charm with contemporary sophistication for both formal and casual wear. The soft ruffles add a touch of romance and movement to it. It has a nice v-neckline that is not too deep and allows you to wear it as sweater and maintain a modest appeal. The functional buttons allow you wear it closed or open. It is made with a stretchy ribbed knit fabric that hugs your curves comfortably. It is a nice thick material that is a medium-weight knit which provides just the right amount of warmth without bulk. I did order the large for her and she likes the fit of it. There is a flare after the waist and I knew that so I should have gotten it a tad more snug (I’m an xl most days but should have gotten a Large) in a smaller size down. The fabric is soft. Not thick. This is a very nice soft lighter sweater with a lovely design in the making. See pic. Thick for a dressy sweater. Wooden buttons compliment it. It has a very cute style/shape to it. I wear mostly medium but got a large to wear over other tops. Glad I did. It fits snug enough I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing buttoned up as a top. Only because I am of an age of bulges. I will wear it open. Would be so cute on a young person with it"s cute little style. Looks more expensive than it is. Beige is a bit to the yellowish tone but not bad. My pictures are against a white door. I did hand wash it and played to dry this removed the fold marks. There was no smell. Washes well no pilling. Read more
