I actually have nothing negative to say about this jacket! I really like the style, the color, the cut, and the fit. The gold buttons add a classy touch, too. I wore this over a thin turtleneck neck sweater to an outdoor Christmas event. It temperature with the wind chill was about 40 degrees F, and I wasn't too cold. My hands did get cold, but my body stayed fairly warm. It's just a lightweight jacket, but it's 2 layers of fabric plus the fringe, so that helps with the warmth. I ordered a medium, and it fits perfectly. It has no stretch, but it's not tight across the shoulders or in the arms, so it's very comfortable to wear. My measurements are 36-26-37 with broad shoulders and long arms. I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality of this garment, especially considering the price range. At the current listed price of just under $35, it's a great value for a stylish fashion jacket. I got so many compliments the night I wore it. There are 2 types of fringe on this jacket. One is a more traditional fringe on the bottom of the hem and the bottom of the sleeves. The other is all over the body of the jacket and consists of punch-cut pieces of fabric. There were a quite a few pieces of the punch-cut fabric that hadn't been shaken loose from the fringe, so I did shed some of those pieces onto my sweater and where I was sitting when I first wore it. Think about if you used a hole punch on a piece of paper, but some of those pieces stayed attached to the paper. This is more of a cardigan than a true jacket. I say that because the weight of the piece is light, doesn't have the structure of a traditional jacket, and is unlined. There are buttons on the sleeves that jangle every time you move your arms - to be honest, it's a bit of an annoyance after a while. I wore this to my office Christmas party - it looked great, and the sounds of the cuff buttons worked for the Jingle Bells theme. I ordered the black and it is a rich, deep shade. The way the fabric is cut, it looks like it has a little shimmer. The overall fit is well proportioned. There is no stretch to the fabric. The fringe has not pulled or shed - it is constructed very well. The front is open - no hooks or closure. I ordered the XL - I am a DD cup and it fits well through the bust. I am 5'4" and the length is nice on me. This is great if you can deal with the noisy buttons on the cuff. Read more
I really wanted to like this fringe jacket because the idea and the photos looked great, but unfortunately it was a big letdown. The material is very subpar and feels extremely cheap. In person, it doesn’t look anything like the pictures. Honestly, looks more like a ragged piece of fabric with fringes attached rather than an actual jacket. The concept had potential, but the execution completely missed the mark. The fit and overall look are not flattering at all, and the quality just isn’t there.
