This was the cutest outfit for the Renaissance Festival! My daughter loved it! She is about 56 and weighs 130 pounds. We purchased a medium for her and it fit pretty well. I adore the costume, it's very cute but it is advertised incorrectly. This isn't about the difference in computer screens - the one advertised is absolutely a deeper, darker red. I personally do not mind as I like the way this red pops, but it is false advertising and therefore it knocks a star off on it's own. If I had been deadset on the specific red, I would have been very upset. I'm 5'4, 115lbs and I purchased the small, it fit just fine for me. I was not fond of the other accesories that came with the costume (though all did arrive), and so I went and bought a different corset, as well as other pieces. What I will say is that this costume, as many costumes, is 100% polyester. It does not breathe if you get overheated easily or are outside in the hot sun. The skirt is a skirt, so you don't have to worry about it, the top however may very well be uncomfortable if you sweat a lot or are in the hot soon. I did not wear this outside so I can not fully comment on this. I can not comment on the corset as I bought my own, (I did not like the brown at all. It would have never been my choice). I have thick thighs but even then the garter seems pretty large before stretching. You may have to find a way to clip it tighter if it does not stay for you. Ultimately, I adore the costume but it IS a costume. It's typical costume quality, and the color in the advertising is completely off. Overall, I found it comfortable and I enjoyed wearing it (inside). I washed it in a lingerie bag to avoid snags and hung dry it prior to wearing it out. The skirt is a lot of fun and is super cute. I feel like the top was too big even for a small, but you can cinch it. I really wanted to rate it four stars, but I really can not with the false color. I do not know if there are variations in color and some of them MAY be the color advertised, but I must go by what I received. OH, I will also say that on me - the front of the skirt was really quite long, especially if you are shorter or have shorter legs and it covers the garter, but it just makes it a fun little surprise.
