I’m honestly very impressed with this purchase. I didn’t expect much at this price point, but the quality completely exceeded my expectations. The fabric feels nice and not cheap at all — it has a good thickness and drape. The stitching is clean, and all the details are well made. The buttons, metal eyelets, and ties are sturdy and securely attached, which shows great craftsmanship. What really surprised me is how many accessories are included. The set comes with everything you need, and the overall look is very complete and stylish. Most importantly, it looks great when worn — definitely looks more expensive than it actually is. This jet black outfit fits amazingly. I got this just to have more pirate clothes around as I plan to do Pirate Photography and shows this summer if I can find a place that allows it. The shirt has a good fit, and the pants although they get tight when I pull the ankle part to my calf, fit perfectly. The grommets and strings feel sturdy as well. I already had a red sash and bandana but having a second set really adds to what I like to do and allows some of them to go into cleaning if needed. The necklace is well made and slides right over my head at the longest length on the extender chain. The ring is well thought out with an easily bent open design as to prevent it from getting stuck on fingers. Wristbands are well made with sturdy pieces that use a sliding knot to secure and loosen it on your wrist. I still haven't tested the eyepatch, but this is such a good set and the eyepatch feels well cushioned. This is a great set for less than $40 I'd recommend it as a base for anyone wanting to sail the high seas. Read more
The pants are a bit long, unless I wear them clear up to my ribs, but still comfortable and definitely work. The shirt is light weight and comfortable. Everything seems well made and fits well. I love how it all fits and looks. (Pointy stick not included). Great colors, all fabric, while not super high quality stuff is still durable and well made. I have a lot of costumes and this is probably one of my favorites. Highly recommend. I'll be wearing mine this weekend go a Renaissance faire. Read more
