The knit is soft and light, good for layering without feeling bulky. The fit is true to size and the buttons are sewn on well. I like the weight and thickness of the sweater. It did not pill after washing, but I did notice that the color faded a bit and now has a lighter color, it still looks great, so not complaining about that, I took off a star because it seems to hit the model a bit lower on the waist and for me it's on the shorter side, it still covers but not as much as I would normally like. This is an excellent cardigan. It is very soft and comfortable. The sleeve length is perfect for the size and the color is vibrant. It is a medium weight sweater and should work well in most office environments. Since it looks a lot more expensive than it is, we'll probably have it dry cleaned instead of washing it in the machine, So I can't comment on its washability. Overall, it is highly recommended.
