Although I no longer smoke, I did for several decades, and know a lot of people who continue to indulge. Most of these are Rancher types, spend a lot of time outdoors in the elements, and have an active lifestyle. I had seen similar products at a local truck stop, which gave me the idea to gift these to people who could really appreciate and benefit from having something like this. But, those at the truck stop fell short on meeting the criteria necessary for my intended beneficiaries. It would need to have a hard case, capable of taking a full size pack directly inside (100's size), be water resistant, and have a rechargeable lighter. So I shopped around. When I found these, they fit the bill, so I purchased six to gift to my friends. The orders did not come in together, so they were not all given out at the same time. The first to receive theirs was over the moon with excitement, and quickly became the envy of the others, who did not realize they had one coming as well. This actually built up the excitement and appreciation a bit when they received one of their own. I have asked them to provide feedback should anything happen, but so far it has all been smiles and happiness. The lighters came charged, so I have no idea how long the charge is good for, but they do work really well through wind, rain, and so far, all typical challenges of getting a good light. The cases are sturdy, and what I would call crush resistant; if you ran it over with a car, it might not do so well, but they are reasonably strong. Like I said, these people live a ranch-style life, so they're outside in all weather, working a variety of jobs with different equipment, and keeping their cigarettes dry, unbroken, and handy is actually a pretty big thing. And the capability of getting a convenient and reliable light is also pretty huge. Being around these people, and watching their processes, and being a former smoker myself, I was able to deduce the needs and applications of what a good case would require. Ok .. this is a truly cool item!! I wish I had known about this YEARS ago! I am a motorcycle rider .. and occasionally would like a smoke while i'm out riding... but a lighter will get blown out because of wind. This holds my cigarette pack for me. And there's no flame to get blown out. It is light weight .. but nice looking. Seems plenty durable as long as a person isn't throwing it all over the place and causing it to break. It does seem well made.. easy to charge and the magnet appears to do what it is supposed to do. It isn't so magnetic that you sit there prying for a year trying to get the top off .. but it also doesn't just fall off. I have not seen if it holds well while i'm out right. I'm hoping that it does. But for general use .. I can't see where a person would have a problem with it. If a woman threw it into her purse, I can see where the magnet might let the top (burner) come off. Anything is possible. The mirror seems to be true to real life.. doesn't seem bendy and gross like some mirrors are. But that wasn't my reason for buying this item. Most people would rip the top off their cigarette pack and drop it in.. I left the top on mine and found out that after one or two openings, the box opens the lid for me. So it may provide a bit of an extra seal to keep the cigarettes from going stale that way. So far, I have no problem with this product and think it is a really neat idea. When I stop smoking, I can still see where it might be an interesting item. I'm thinking it may be good for a take along craft utensil storage box. Deducting one star because the lighter components battery is super sketch, looks to be swelling already after maybe 5 ignitions. The case itself is good otherwise! If you tear the cardboard lid top off of your pack, it slides right in and fits perfectly without having to destroy your butts removing them from the cardboard packaging and shoving into a case! We absolutely love these awesome, sturdy cigarette cases with the built-in lighter. The seller provides a little charging cord to keep the lighter charged and working. The pack holds up to twenty 100’s size cigarettes. They are perfect for camping or times when you have forgotten to bring a lighter with you. They have a smooth, attractive design, and there is even a mirror on the pack to check your lipstick with. All in all, my husband and I both love these lighters.
